I couldn't find that file, even did a search. BUT I do think I found it.

in the cfg folder there's a file called "server.vdf" and it seems like everything gets sent there.

I just tested it and it seems to have moved the settings over.

I glanced in that folder but I didn't see anything that looked like it might be what I needed, but I was looking for a file that was generated by the plugin and not a standard file. But you got me on the right track lol. Thanks. ^_^;

Normally configuration variables go in the server.cfg
I'm honestly not sure if changing them in ULX will write them there, but the best way is to test different settings out with the ULX and then add that setting to the server.cfg to ensure it's permanent.

Looking around at the documentation a little bit, the GMod LUA documentation for the FCVAR_ARCHIVE flag (which is supposed to save the setting values) says it write them to config.cfg, so check there.

Hey so I just had to rebuild my server again after the latest update, but I can't seem to find where the variables get stored. Would be nice to be able to port everything over easily instead of having to re-do it all.

Hey man, thanks for the quick reply! So it turned out a mod list I added to my collection had a ULX mod in it - removed that and now I'm all good. Oops. Thanks for taking a look though!

And I've just seen your versions! Swapped them in to replace the originals - excited to use them in my next TTT session on my server. Thanks for the help :))

Hi Mattyboi -- Glad you like my versions. While we're talking about them, I actually have versions of the Randomat 2.- and ULX menu for it as well.

As for why this isn't working for you -- I don't see any problems with the mods you have in your list.
Do you see a TTT tab at all? Are you getting any errors in the server console when you start it?

Hi Malivil - Love your work on the base mod! I do have some issues with the ULX mod unfortunately. I only have two ULX mods installed, yours and the Randomat 2.0 one, but my menu's don't look like yours in the screenshots.

I don't see any immediate mod conflicts, so I'm pretty stumped.

I looked at your screenshot (for some reason I just assumed that was a link to the Custom Roles addon at first) and yea -- that looks like the original TTT ULX module. Make sure you don't have that one: https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=127865722

You don't have the "Gameplay" section or the "Roles Enabled" sub-section?
If you have "Gameplay" but not "Roles Enabled" then you have another version of the TTT ULX menu installed somewhere.

I don't seem to have that bit in the TTT tab. I'm subscribed to your version of the Custom Roles mod, so I don't know why it wouldn't be working.

The first tab would add a "TTT" section as well.
In the TTT tab, you would have the Custom Roles configurations in the different sections on the left.

I've got only this one installed (not Nox's one) and I have a TTT tab, but it's just basic TTT config options. I also can't find any mention of this in the first tab.

Ah found the problem. There's two different ULX TTT addons on the workshop. Had the wrong one installed.

If this says it "Edits" the original Noxx version, do we need to have Noxx's version installed for this to work?

It shows as TTT in the first tab and it adds its own TTT tab. It's not named "Custom Roles" so it's easy to miss if that's what you are looking for =)

if it doesn't show up in the ULX menu do I have to run a command to get it to?
