I played case 055339-Y and found a couple of errors. I got it from the app game database so I don't know for sure if the database is in error or if there is an error in the cards in the mod. It included cards 23, 169, and 199, but these three cards together prove a motive for someone who is not the murderer. These 3 cards should not all have been in the game. I also noticed that card 46 which indicated that no one was in one of the rooms at the time of the murder was not in the game, but should have been because it helped prove who was the murderer. It seems that at the very least card 46 should have replaced one of the other 3 cards. I don't have the physical game so I can't verify whether the card numbers in the mod are correct.

Unsubscribe from the mod and resubscribe. If that doesn't work you might have to delete your cache. If they've downloaded to your machine incorrectly once, TTS won't fix itself automatically.

Case deck building appears to be broken. No matter which case I choose, I get a "Object reference not set to an instance of an object" error.

Also, i like simple hidden zones a little bit more than your hidden objects system. Makes it easier to share what your sheet looks like with everyone else at the end of the game. Kinda best part of the game for us. Good mod nevertheless

I'd actually been through and verified that I'd got every unique card in the game and in order, but I'd tagged 68 as a second copy of 62 in the description and that borks the script.

Note that because the 'End Solution Phase' button was never clicked, that player can't alter the solution on their boards after telling you. And if they wanted to cheat, then they'd have to click 'End Solution Phase' to alter their guess, and the clicking of that is logged in the game log.

Maybe I'll add an extra button for just 'revealing all boards' rather than getting people to switch to spectator

Fixed card 68 showing as a second card 62. I'm not currently aware of any more errors.

When you click 'Solution Phase' all solutions on sheets will be locked ( This part is VERY important, each player has to input their guess before clicking this solution button, your murderer choice, motive and weapon choice can be used later to verify that the player genuinely guessed ) then you reveal tokens, and potentially one player checks the app/manual.

If at this point you have a player who tells you that they've won, then you can use the player colour selector to change to the grey spectator and you can 'double check' your friend has really won by looking at their board and that their guess on the board matches the solution in the manual (or app where you can repeat their solution to verify.... at this point you've got a player telling you they've won the game, it's all over).

There are mistakes in the cards naming - there are two copies of different 62 cards, one of them should be 68. For some reason there is no card number printed on the cards (which is a thing in the IRL copy of the game), so you have no easy way of verify if the cards are named properly. This will definitely ruin some of your games because changing even one card will make some cases unsolvable.

How do you show your solution to your mates when the game is over? They can't see your investigation sheet and we haven't find any way to show it to each other

Awesome work!

When hovering over a card you see the card number in the tooltip. It's not a really big deal , but if someone plays a lot she might remember the hint associated with the number and then when setting up a game just get the clues into her head unintentionally.
The easiest solution is to hide the tooltip, but I don't know if it's possible.
Another solution is to switch between the name and the description fields.

Hi! Great work on the scripting. Might I suggest you update the instructions in the lower right to tell people not to include the leading zeroes when keying in the card numbers to build the deck? It tripped me up until I figured it out. :)

No idea about the setup deck. It’s only a deck of 250 or so cards, nothing special about it. Have you tried deleting your TTS cache?

When I host this game my friends are unable to load the setup deck, the game times out before they can load it, it even happens if I only load the setup deck, is there any way to solve this?

Is it possible you entered the 001, 008 etc instead of 1, 8? The mod doesn't like the padded zeros before the number

I entered a case from the manual today. It created the deck, we started playing, and then found a lot of contradictions. We figured out that the deck had quite a few cards in it that I had not entered, and so we were unable to solve the case. The case I entered was 056729-S from the game manual. Other than that, I was impressed by the scripting, but of course it's not playable with incorrect decks.

I've just ran through a test and it works ok and creates a deck of 70 cards. I'll update the screenshots on the item with some examples of my run through.

When I enter a case into the spreadsheet it creates a draw deck of only 42 cards...am I doing something wrong? The cases should all have draw decks of 70 if I'm not mistaken. I've filling out the fully sheet several times and double checked for errors, etc., and I'm still only getting 42.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Why are you searching the deck to build the case?

If you’ve got a list of cards from the app or manual, you need to go to the “Input Case Card List” object (it looks like a notepad with a grid drawn in it) and click your mouse in the top left cell. From there, input each card number with your keyboard, and press your “tab” key after entering each number. E.g if your app says cards 1, 4, 8, 9, 15 you would type... 1 TAB 4 TAB 8 TAB 9 TAB 15

Once you’ve got the full list of all the case cards (all 70) in this notepad, hit the small green button on the top right of the pad. The script will go through the list, get out the correct cards, create a draw pile to the right of the main board, and then shuffle it.

So basically, you should never need to search the deck. I’ve played my mod a couple of times and never had to search (therefore not needing to flip the cards as you say)
