wow this was almost a year ago! lol
Maeyanie 22 Oct, 2023 @ 3:02am
@Dominus: Given it only has a connector on the bottom, it would have to go on top.
Spicie 6 Oct, 2022 @ 11:20am
will this fit inside the hercules or does it have to go on top?
Nisroc 6 Aug, 2022 @ 7:53am
Shame you can only move ores to the large cargo container, else its handles very good.
Kernal K 18 Oct, 2021 @ 3:40am
I love this design, had a lot of fun with it in creative, but am I doing something wrong or does it not quite fit in the ISL small grid ship printer? I managed to print it, but took a lot of damage getting it out of the printer to the nose of the shuttle and the print head as the piston welders intruded on the nose slightly

Left Pertam beautifully using Blarg's ascent, spent a good amount of time searching asteroids. Came back with a nice load of Platinum. Dropped back to Pertam like a very stylish brick to eventually stop 200m from the ground. Needed new pants but would ride again

Hi, just want to ask, is the large cargo not connected up to connector intentional?
Gufo10 6 Apr, 2021 @ 7:24pm
@IvIercTTV I would say PAM, it has a good cargo transfer system
also ik that I'm replying to a 4 month old message, but I still hope it helps

This ship is a very well designed ship, but I have a problem with turrets. When turrets shoot enemies that are in front of the ship, these turrets sometimes shoot the atmospheric thrusters (backward thrusters) in front of them, thereby blowing them up. Except this problem, this ship is amazing.

What script should we use to automate cargo transport? or should we be manually loading the cargo? (im a one guy faction and trying to automate as much as i can)
ArmedBOB 5 Jan, 2021 @ 7:50am
Thank you for all the amazing work you do on these builds. They are so well done and look so sharp.
GodsAnger 12 Dec, 2020 @ 7:42am
I believe adding Air Vent on front cargo and setting to Depressurize will allow oxygen in airtight cockpit
GodsAnger 12 Dec, 2020 @ 7:37am
Spite I love your collections. I wish you had a larger cargo atmo but i understand the restrictions for the printer setup.

I've done some extensive testing/use and believe this could benefit from these updates:
[SAM] tag small, med, lg cargo containers so SAM waits for load/unload
[SAM FORCE] tag 5 batteries and 4 small batteries so they recharge on dock despite power situation of grid
[SAM] tag 3 raycast cameras top, front, underside so SAM doesn't slam into other objects

Thanks Spite for your hardwork on your fleet. I love them

Ahh right, same problem as the other ship?

It's Blargmode's ascent cruise control, so the set up you need on your toolbar is to run the PB with an empty argument
Chocolate Pudding01 24 Jul, 2020 @ 4:58pm
Okay, when I built this ship, Toolbar 6 was empty. What block and argument does Ascent Cruise Control On/Off do exactly? Just turn on/off the Ascent timer block?
wastedwu 24 May, 2020 @ 8:35am
ok thanks ill try the ion and hydrogen ones!
Spite  [author] 24 May, 2020 @ 6:12am
Ok, were you using atmospheric thrusters only? Or did you try the hydrogen and ion versions?
wastedwu 24 May, 2020 @ 6:10am
I think its because I'm in space
Kodiak 18 May, 2020 @ 12:21pm
Used this ship yesterday and worked fine for me also.
Spite  [author] 18 May, 2020 @ 10:08am
Ok, that sounds like a very odd bug, because I have spent a long while this afternoon flying around in this ship doing contracts and any kind of test I can think of do to, they all work fine on my side. So unfortunately I don't have a solution for you
wastedwu 18 May, 2020 @ 9:41am
but the rovers work just fine :/
wastedwu 18 May, 2020 @ 9:39am
it is actually all of the ships, and i have no idea on why im doing this on this page instead of the collection comments:steamfacepalm:
Spite  [author] 17 May, 2020 @ 10:32pm
Ok, so I just tried all three Helios shuttles, both by spawning them in and by printing them, and I am able to control them as normal.

So I have no idea why they would not be working for you. Is this happening to you for all ships, or only the Helios?

Also, if the Helios is the problem, why ask me on the Atlas workshop page?
wastedwu 17 May, 2020 @ 4:02pm
the ship is the Helios, When i spawn the ship in and i get in, i can use my mouse control the way I'm facing, Using Q,E for roll, but when I try to use WASD... nothing happens:steamsad:
Spite  [author] 17 May, 2020 @ 10:52am
I'm not sure why WASD isn't working for you, that is how you fly them, unless you are trying to fly while the autopilot is in control. Is WASD still no working while the programmable blocks are off?
wastedwu 17 May, 2020 @ 10:49am
how do i fly the ships? (w,a,s,d i'snt working for me)
Spite  [author] 14 May, 2020 @ 11:12pm
You needed a Laser antenna? Wow, how far away was your space station? normal Antenna range (if you extend it to maximum) should get you into space.

What's catching you out on the unmanned ships? (I assume you mean the Callisto?) If there is something confusing I didn't think of, then I should probably add it to their descriptions, so let me know!
TeamBroken 14 May, 2020 @ 9:38pm
The distance was the issue, I needed to install a laser. As you recommended, I appreciate you taking the time to help me troubleshoot this. Now If I can just figure out your unmanned ships ill be golden.
Spite  [author] 14 May, 2020 @ 2:28pm
These should be all the requirements for the script to work. When I test it on my PC it woks fine in and out of gravity.

If all of the above is in place, and it still doesn't work, then I don't know how to help, and you will have to talk to the script author (link to the script page is in the "required items" on the right of this page.
Spite  [author] 14 May, 2020 @ 2:28pm
In that case it sounds like there is something wrong with the set up for the station in space, if no ship is able to find its connectors.

So some things you could check are:
1. Does the station have enough power?

2. Does the station have a PB with the sam script on it, turned on and tagged with [SAM Advertise]?

3. does the station have an antenna that is on and broadcasting?

4. do the connectors that you want to dock to have the tag [SAM Name=dockname] in their name, where "dockname" is what you want that connector to show up as on the SAM menu.

5. Is the antenna on the Atlas turned on?
TeamBroken 14 May, 2020 @ 2:06pm
any ship, it doesnt see the connectors, It works just fine on earth.
Spite  [author] 14 May, 2020 @ 3:32am
Hmmm, I just gave it a go now and it seems to work fine.

Do you have an antenna on your space station?

Is it only this shuttle? Or does the station not work any ship with SAM autopilot?
TeamBroken 14 May, 2020 @ 2:30am
I cant seem to get it to see connectors in space.
Spite  [author] 13 May, 2020 @ 10:15pm
Sure, first make sure the PB with SAM on it is turned on, then you have to use the buttons on toolbar 4 whilst looking at the SAM LCD.

Use "screen" to switch the LCD to a list of all available SAM Station docks (you have to have the SAM script running on the stations/ships you want to Atlas to dock to). Move up and down the list with "prev" and "next" and choose the ones you want with "select". Once you're done, press "screen" again and the LCD should switch to a list of only the docks you chose.

Use the "select" button again on the dock you want and it should cycle between Charge, Charge&Load, and Charge&Unload, choose the one you want and press "start" when you want to go.

Keep in mind SAM won't move cargo for you, it just monitors how full your cargo containers are, so you may want to use sorters or an inventory script on your station(s) if you don't want to do that manually.
TeamBroken 13 May, 2020 @ 9:33pm
Spite cam you over any help with the SAM system? How do I tell it to charge and pick up cargo? The guide on SAM V2 is not very helpfull.
ThePhoenixKnight 12 May, 2020 @ 11:05am
i like the detail
Spite  [author] 12 May, 2020 @ 9:30am
Thanks, I hope it works well for you!
ThePhoenixKnight 12 May, 2020 @ 9:28am
Wow! Nice ship
