I've been messing around with this mod and it seems to be working perfectly on 1.4 with Biotech.

Note, it does stack if you increase the ageing through both the storyteller settings and the mod settings (eg 2x ageing + 2x ageing = 4x overall). I prefer to just use the mod settings and keep the storyteller settings at 1x ageing - that way you have have the year speed match the ageing speed.

Chronological age is unchanged no matter what I do - its based entirely on how many years pass in gameplay, and this mod doesn't affect that.

Good news everyone! it appears that the 1.3 version still works fine with the new update (reasonably so, all the changes had no effect on what this mod does)

would be a great addition if it didnt have the pawn aging and life expectancy things forced on (they conflict hard with tons of mods)

Don't use this mod with Either Children School and Learning mods or Babies and Children.

The aging feature will hammer your game into the dirt as soon as a baby shows up.

This is great. One thing I'd like to be able to do is adjust how quickly certain age brackets age. Would work well with Children mods etc. Say Pawns aged 0-16 age 8x fast, 17-50 age 6x fast, 51+ age 10x fast

Speeds up kids maturing, slows down aging in adult pawns, and speeds up getting rid of geriatrics.

Fast Aging had a feature like that and I really liked it :P

This mod is fun for custom scenarios but a few things: Alien humanoid mods are incompatible with the aging and there's a limit on how old your pawn can be chronologically and I couldn't change it on prepare carefully but that could be on their side. If it's a problem in some vanilla cap, however, could you disable or check that?

Is there a way to slow down the years instead of skipping them? Having 120 days a year instead of 60 or making pawns age on half speed. I tried going in negative values but it did nothing and .5 values reset to default.

the default aging of animals and humans is set to 5. before I knew it my colonists lost a full decade of life within a year. so I set it to 0 for both and havent had an issue.

so just an fyi to configure this mod before starting. if you need time to pass by and want time to advance quickly now you can easily do so. I play with the age matters mod and rapid aging is very bad for me. lol

I noticed pawns are aging actively based on the custom ratio for years you set but this causes massive issue with mods like Humanoid Alien Races as it causes recalculating of lifestages to fire off constantly resulting in TPS drops of like 300.

I just noticed the year only changes every 60 days, as written in the description. *facepalm*

I wanted to speed it up by 60x times, but if it only updates every 60 days it is a bit disappointing

i set the human aging and every 60 days to 2 but my colonists still only age by 1 every 60 days. how do i fix this?

By far, this is the best mods of its kind. However, there is just one problem: prisoners don't age as fast as your pawns (no big deal, you can still change this manually every year for immersion purpose in dev mode). Thanks, yayo, just take my points. I recommend using this with Time Kills mod, for extra drama haha

YAYO, that is sad to hear, but understandable of course. RL always comes first.

Apart from that, has anyone else encoutnered an issue where,
when you start with Year 1, it does not switch to year 2 after day 60, but to year 11?
