This mod needs updating, and there's a bug where I'm on a recruitment screen and the stats keeps flashing repeatedly.

I keep having to enable the mod going from Warhammer 3 and back to Warhammer 2, like I seem to not be able to have it enabled on both at the same time, once i tick it on in warhammer 3 launcher then it ticks off in warhammer 2, anyone have a fix?

My biggest two complaints about WH2 are (well, "were", thanks to this)...

1: Trying to cursor over stacked unit cards in the building screen; I'm scowling at you, every magic-heavy-unit faction!

All those casters to compare and with maybe less than half of a millimetre wiggle room to use in order to view them. Utter garbage and massive oversight. I later learned to just build the structures, go to my lord's "recruit" option, pin a unit card and then compare to others. That said, that oversight should NEVER have been allowed in the game.

2: What this patch fixes. What you made here is not a mod, because it manages to right yet another massive oversight (aka just wrong) design choice.

As @thomasmayrhofer1 put it, this is an absolute "must have" and is easily the very first download any newcomer to WH2 should get.

TL/DR: If you're new to WH2, you absolutely need this. Now take all my points, prop joe, and a few more because, The Wire

This mod is awesome. I had one mod that broke it though "Co-Op Campaign Lizardmen Lord Kroak Bugfix". So if someone has problems that's one culprit.

heads up for those with the flickering problem on the first unit of the recruitment window.... i had this too. i lowered the UI scale in the graphics settings and it fixed it

I think there's a problem with the unit recruitment UI. at first ror, ogre, raise dead UI will come out as the existing UI. but After clicking on the basic recruitment UI, If you go into another recruitment UI, it comes out normal. Do I have to set the update option separately? (I used a translator)

Hi Joe.
For some reason when this mod is enabled, all of my character abilities and passives are double spaced when in battle. I couldn't see this option as a feature, is it intended?

Thanks a lot and I have to say this too: This is one of the few "Must-Have" mods for my Warhammer 2 experience. It's extremely helpful and makes the campaign much less annoying.

Do you plan on "porting" the mod to WH3 too, if the interface is equally bad? :)

I don't have a current Dwarf campaign, but I gather this doesn't alter the size of the forge/crafting window? Any chance that could be added in a future update? The size of that has always annoyed me, and it's even worse with crafting mods that add additional items.

You would probably need to provide screenshots, save games, or a complete description of what happened when your bugs happened.
Unless the bugs you are talking about are known. Often (not always, sometimes they ARE bugs) these things happen when different mods are mixed. It might have something to do with your resolution if it's not a standard one.
I'm playing DE Rakarth play through at the moment and have not had any issues except the smaller recruit screen, but that is a known thing.

Okay thank you, but I noticed something strange though. It worked sometimes with Dark Elves, sometimes I had them bigger, sometimes not. And sometimes they were totally put to the left, so it's also a bit buggy. Would be better to only have it deactivated completely. But in my playthrough it happened both and jumped between the two possibilities, that's very distracting.

I hope this can be fix dear prop joe, otherwise, this mod is a godsend. Thanks a ton.

Hey @prop joe, first of all thank you for this amazing mod, and second, there is a bug that has been popping up in my games, and it is that when playing a multiplayer campaign, the player who is not hosting gets very fast flickering cards on the unit icons you click when recruiting. IS there anything you can do about this?

on the pre battle screen, the very bottom is getting cut off when playing as skaven with banners, cus there is the number of menace belows at the top then the banners below it which is pushing the very bottom row of units slightly off screen

This mod doesn't hide any units from recruitment, you can always check by disabling it.

I have gotten this mod 2 days ago and since I started using it im literally breathing deeper in real life. So many small little annoying little things removed. If you havent used this mod before just open diplomacy tab. Instant relief! Need more? Open recruitment tab!

I've played a bit more while trying to determine the cause of the scrolling issue. As far as I've seen, the unit banners bar does seem to be related to the problem. I am pretty sure every time I've noticed the issue, I've had the unit banner bar at the top of the army panel. It may be specifically that bar that causes it, or maybe it's just not adjusting the scroll bar height whenever there is some modification to the army list height in general (not sure if anything else does that).

I am also experiencing the pre-battle problem with units getting cut off on the bottom of the screen.
Using only this and Vandy's Config tool, I have two Skaven armies besieging a settlement. Turn 7 of a fresh ME.
Regardless which is the 1st army, the bottom row of units gets cut off. One is a full stack (3 row), and the other has 2 row of units. From what I can tell, the portait of the 1st army's lord cannot go higher in the UI, but there's no scroll bar.
They attacked me, so new battle screen. This new pre-battle screen has only one difference. The "AI Control" tick box is gone, and the units on the bottom row are now a bit less cut off, but still off. My guess is that the scroll bar isnt functioning properly relative to the UI height.
Ive experienced scenarios where an entire row of units is cut off (despite the presence of a scroll bar) and it's as if the scroll bar doesn't properly allow for enough scroll

@prop joe: Prop Joe, I need your wisdom on a problem I have. There are custom units I like to recruit in campaigns but the recruitment panel is not showing all of them. Some just disappear and I don't know how to edit the script using RPFM. Can you please help me so I may be able to recruit all of my units? I beseech you my good modder :steamthumbsup:.

Hm, as a random thought I just had, I wonder if it might be related to the banner bar that is there when the commanding lord has banners they can assign to units in their army. That might push the unit cards down but maybe it is not extending the scroll bar to compensate?

Like I said, just a random thought, I haven't tested it yet, but figure it might be something worth paying attention to to see. I'll try to make note of it, myself, some time.
