If you get a pattern that's not in the table refer to the serial number, for example lets say 3T2EW9. Take each digit so 3, 2 and 9 and subtract 3 from each until they are less than 3. This results in 0, 2 and 0. Add 1 to each to get 1, 3 and 1. These digits now correspond to which LEDs need to be toggled. So you would toggle the 1st LED in reading order twice, which ends up not changing it. Then you would toggle the 3rd LED once.

good mod but seriously what am i supposed to do when all the leds are off? it's not a position on the table and i have no idea how assigning a 2 and two 1s to random leds can help
