I just tested it and it still works with the current game version. I will make an update just to get rid of the warning in the content manager. I've also updated the description to recommend algernon's Vehicle Selector mod as the replacement of the old Service Vehicle Selector 2 mod

This mod is incredible. Amazing how the cable cars actually bounce around like all the other vehicles do, and how much of a difference it makes. If it was doable, I can't believe CO didn't do it. A+

@Steve123 I just tested it and it's still working in my game(I didn't make any recent update to the mod). Make sure the mod is enabled in the content manager.

@FOAA | RogueMissile yup you can subscribe to multiple cable car vehicle assets at the same time. Use the Service Vehicle Selector 2 mod to choose what type of cable cars a cable car station would spawn. I was told it can also be done with the Enhanced District Services mod but I never tried it.

@mrmichael It turns out the issue was because I forgot to include a file in the last update so it would cause an error if people were not also using other mods with the same dependency. It should be fixed now.

@sway - IT WORKS NOW!!! Fantastic! I tried what you said - I subscribed to one of the items in the list what Harmony uses and afterwards no error and it works! Interesting... maybe it somehow triggered Harmony to work properly. Thank you so much - I cannot praise your mod enough - it's total cable car changer :) now it looks how it supposed to look when it was released by devs basically unfinished, shame developers didn't care about such important thing when creating cable cars. Wonderful job! Thank you! :)

@mrmichael I use 7/9 of those mods and they all use version 1.2.0.1 so I don't think the issue was on them. Harmony 2.0.0.9's page lists some other mods using it as a dependency. Can you try to subscribe to them, restart steam, and see if you have the same problem?

@mrmichae When the users enable/disable this mod, it checks if Harmony is ready so it can enable/disable its functionality correctly. This error message pops up when the mod can't find Harmony for itself to use. It's probably because some other mods use an older version of Harmony, as @aubergine18 pointed out. This mod uses Harmony 2.x and some older 1.x versions are not compatible with 2.x. There can be some other reason causing the mod failed to find Harmony. But as the problem isn't on the main functionality of this mod(the cable car part), at the moment it's hard for me to figure out the solution. aubergine18's Duplicate Assembly Scanner (DAS) can scan which mods are using Harmony. I get this same error again when I turn the mod back off. Too scary for me to use when it's producing errors. Love the idea, should be in base game. Hope the error gets fixed and this mod becomes stable. I will definitely use it.

I don't know if this would be a "simple" issue to fix, but it is ridiculous that simple things have to be solved by good-hearted modders when the obligation to fix these bugs is from Paradox. I can only thank you, dear companions, for making this game what it deserves to be. As for the paradox, I haven't spent since the snollfall, and I won't spend any more penny on DLC. They don't make a line of code that alters the behavior of a cabble car, but DLC they do in lots! They do not deserve the prestige you guys bring to this game! Thank you so much!

@HayManMarc I use Network Skins 2 too and don't have conflicts so far. So it should be some other mods. I'm not sure how Harmony 1.x works but you might be able to filter out the mods by searching 0harmony.dll in the workshop folder

@HayManMarc run the duplicate assembly scanner mod - it will list which versions of harmony your other mods are using. Post the DuplicateAssemblyScanner.log file somewhere and Iink it. Hopefully it will highlight which mod has old version of Harmony that's causing conflict. (the Harmony 2 mod autopatches some old versions of Harmony, but not all of them)

Yeah, i had it long before. I'm using a LOT of mods, so not sure which one might be conflicting. I'll take a look and try to narrow it down for you. May take a while. :/

@HayManMarc Thank you for the report. So far I only tested this mod on my two computers and couldn't replicate the error yet... This mod only has ~150 subscribers and you're the first one to report the problem. I probably have to wait and see if other players report the same error message so I can get a better understanding of the problem. If you were already using Harmony for other mods(such as RICO revisited) long before you first tried this mod, then the problem for sure was caused by this mod and please let me know if this is the case. If you only subscribed Harmony right before you subscribed this mod, then maybe steam didn't finish downloading Harmony when the game started. This mod needs a rewrite sometime in the future to solve the potential incompatibility issues with other mods so maybe your problem will be fixed in future versions

If you need help with Harmony or LODs, head over to the TM:PE discord server and post in the #modding channel. Kian, one of the TM:PE devs, has done loads of work with Harmony, LODs, rendering, etc.

A welcome mod -even if only a proof of concept-.
I believe the lack of cable cars use in game is linked to the unrealistic behaviour - now that it is known it can be corrected, I'm sure more custom cable cars will appear on the workshop.

I decided to warn as I myself recently encountered a conflict caused by this
