Great road but there is a strange bug. If I rename the road it becomes blue. Could you fix it please?
Hrafninn Fjordur 7 Oct, 2022 @ 12:30pm
Can confirm. There is a/a few certain zoom level(s) which cause(s) the roads to turn blue (when renamed, I should add. Doesn't happen otherwise. Which in turn adds the double solid lines, as you mention).

Considering the comments confirming this bug appeared at least a year and a half after it was released it may have to do with an update to the game, messing up the LOD. No clue. But the road is amazing (as all your other things, Urbanist) so would be lovely for this to be fixed.

Example of this happening: https://imgur.com/a/KJgOJL5

Here to confirm the LOD issues, it turns blue (as if the mesh is missing) when partially zoomed out but when fully zoomed in/out it doesn't have problems.

While I love the look and utility of this asset (why is bike lanes + parking such a hard concept for a 16m road??), it seems to have LOD issues and turns blue/disappears when zoomed out. Changing ULOD's Network LOD Distance will affect this, but not remove the issue (no way my computer can handle the 100000m LOD distance, lol).

For some reason, the trees are not appearing in this street even with the required mods installed.

People on bicycle dont appear : (

Would it be possible to get a version without the parking spaces but bike lanes & trees (as it is when you place a bus stop for example)? Great road otherwise!

Sorry to mention, but LSM reported this about its prop:

What's wrong with THIS road? It's the only one to have blue textures.
Wind of Changes 3 Nov, 2021 @ 11:37pm
Very cool road. But it has a bug - it turnes blue here and there especially when zooming out
me22ca 29 Aug, 2021 @ 6:45pm
@RichB4U This is a normal 16 metre road. It doesn't cause any of those things by itself.
RichNdeD . 25 Aug, 2021 @ 6:10pm
While I like the road I can't use it because it plays havoc with the building grid. Once activated it deletes other grides, create small sections, and/or shifts the build grid out of position where it can't be used. This may be caused by another plugin, but I have not been able to identify what it is. Probably some of the other road related pllugins. I don't know enough to track this down. All I now is when I stop using it the grid boes back to normal.

@baronjutter
It may not be safe, but it is very contemporary in the United States of Automobiles
baronjutter 24 Jun, 2021 @ 8:23pm
These look great, but the bike lane being outside of the parking seems very unsafe and not contemporary design :)
Ganliard 1 Jan, 2021 @ 2:02am
I know some cities do it like this, but irl it wouldn't be the safest to have the bicycle lane between a car lane and a car parking

works with sh dlc??
Constant B 18 May, 2020 @ 3:37pm
Thanks @Urbanist - I love pretty much all your networks.
me22ca 16 May, 2020 @ 8:30pm
@Urbanist Ah, I see. The bus stop segments have no parking lane so the sidewalk's wider, meaning that there's space for them again. Makes sense; Sorry for the noise!
Urbanist  [author] 16 May, 2020 @ 8:27pm
@me22ca No that's on purpose, the sidewalk on the bike lane version is too narrow to accomodate the trees and benches nicely :)
ScientistsMonkey 16 May, 2020 @ 7:40pm
@Urbanist Cheers! You did a great job!
me22ca 16 May, 2020 @ 7:10pm
@Urbanist One more bug for you. It looks like you set the tree and planter props to `Required=Stop` -- you can see them not showing in your workshop screenshots.

I assume you either meant `Forbidden=Stop` (to avoid conflicts with the Bus Stop) or `Required=None` (like in the other main street) so that they'll show on ordinary segments.
Urbanist  [author] 16 May, 2020 @ 7:38am
@ScientistsMonkey I was inspired by Hay Street and Murray Street!
@Chamëleon xD
Urbanist  [author] 16 May, 2020 @ 7:37am
@me22ca Thanks for discovering this problem, I've updated the asset to fix this problem. I set the probability of the default street lights to 0 for dev purposes but have now removed it entirely - this also prevented Network Skins from changing street lights but if you'd like different street lamps, you can use Network Skins to change them now. And thanks for the resource!
Urbanist  [author] 16 May, 2020 @ 6:47am
@me22ca Oh no, I'll check and update the asset
Chamëleon TBN 16 May, 2020 @ 6:26am
Yeah! He ist back on track with a track :D
ScientistsMonkey 16 May, 2020 @ 4:59am
@Urbanist Lovely! It recalls my time when I was in Perth!
me22ca 16 May, 2020 @ 2:50am
Exciting! I'll keep an eye out.

One kinda-bug: if you make an 11u road, the two lighting poles end up right next to each other, which looks pretty odd: https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2098240972

I don't know how much you can do about that, given the limited prop spacing tools available on lanes. And you might be interested in https://streetsillustrated.seattle.gov/design-standards/lighting/#guidance , which I found recently and gives design standards for how many pedestrian luminaires should exist for each roadway luminaire.

(And yes, I forgot to subscribe the props before making that screenshot.)
snakesbrother 16 May, 2020 @ 2:47am
Excited to see you back! These roads look really good, would love for you too make a version with red bikelanes instead of green.

Also, is it possible to make some variations of the Dutch road, that is by far the most awesome road on the workshop :)
Urbanist  [author] 16 May, 2020 @ 2:13am
@me22ca Glad you like them, updates are coming soon for the pedestrian and shared streets!
@ScientistsMonkey Yes! :)
@clus Danke schön! :)

Ooh, new things! I really like the other contemporary streets you've put out (as well as the neighbourhood ones), so exciting to go check this out.
