I really like how you arrange your town, and I also loved the location so much too. It's just that I think you need to make the town a bit more functional since you put many stalls on it. Also, since you put the hospital there, I think it would be great if you made them actually use the hospital.

I would like to highlight a mod that I believe did a great job of making the town much more alive for your inspiration.

Thanks for the suggestions, chaps.I'll look into implementing them in this upcoming update. I've ran into a few snags here and there, plus my personal time got a bit complicated so I wasn't as motivated to work on this as I should have been. Sorry about that. The revisions to the mod are still in progress and I've got a few extra things ready to go. I just need to check things over and work on the final additions.

I love this mod but I find it odd that there are no Mk.III dummies to train on. It IS their secret "capital" after all. Also, that big empty building should have sparring mats.

i think if there were more over hanging trees or like shrubbery to provide alot more concealment it would give it waay more of a hideout vibe, but still very appreciative of this mod as it is. Joining the shinobi wont feel like so much of a rip off with having an actual town to go to instead of just small vendors each main town and a bed (training dummies you kind of out grow relatively fast lol)

It seems to work with kaizo, havent got any issues so far. City is a bit overkill for a hideout though, its quite large for vanilla cities.
Also you might wanna check project genesis this mod could be incompatible with it, genesis should have a ruined village at that location? or next hill. (its been a while I played genesis)

The shops should be basic standard for most cities, so I don't think there's too much to worry about there. For the non-recruitable NPCs, I just used some base characters for the skill levels.

As for the recruitable NPCs, they're not overpowered to the point where they are able to take down literally every character, but they are quite strong, which I'll be fixing when I get around to the next update.

What may be considered overpowered is purely up to your experience with the mod and the game as a whole. I don't think they're game breakingly overpowered, most of them have average stats, but that's purely my interpretation of their characters. Sorry I can't be of too much help on that end.

But anyway, thanks so much for the interest in the mod! I'm not too sure when the next update is coming if I'm to be completely honest. I think there should be something before the end of the year.

cool mod! i am however, quite picky on adding mods when game balance is involved.
i hope the npcs are not all invincible gods, some perhaps recruitable, and that the shops won't
be 'too' profitable?

Thanks for the reply! meanwhile, i noted another thing. The private and public settings for buildings dont work. two of the residents every now and then think of the good plan to work into my house and get stuck there. Now i'm not one to complain about free assassination exp, but it becomes quite the hindrance to have to wait till the night before i can throw them out legally.Again, thanks for reacting this quick, it's always nice to see a modder still being active

Thanks! Glad you're enjoying the mod. I'll be honest, didn't think much about the building side of things (never really got into the building side of Kenshi, was always messing around as a thief), but there were a few tweaks I was planning on making anyways in regards to the city, so I'll definitely take that into consideration for the next update. Even the concept of it being a stopping off point for escaped rebirth slaves gives me a lot to think about.

i love your mod. really handy as a former rebirth slave and the characters all seem very immersive. but there's one problem i noticed . None of the shops sell building materials or iron plates. It would be nice if i didnt have to run to worlds end everytime i want to build something

The city would most likely not be affected by it, but I assume it should still work, unless people have had trouble with Living World and town mods in the past. Haven't tested it myself yet.
