@XxWaxygalaxyxX no, this only replaces the npc footsteps. if you have a mod that adds the combine gear sounds to player footsteps it works though

@ologram go to settings, audio, and select subtitles. it may not work correctly if you have too many addons

@Union Blin you need to get a program called GCFScape, but the file path would be: sound/npc/metropolice/gear1-6.wav
or
sound/npc/combine_soldier/gear1-6.wav
