Well, the speed keys in Tropico were basically just the way they usually (read: almost always) are for games: 1 for normal, 2 for fast, 3 for super-fast.

TBH, not very good. It's not a terrible game, but it barely allowed the player any control over anything, which to me is an absolutely ESSENTIAL part of any city-builder game. S'why I prefer games like Surviving Mars and Oxygen Not Included instead :P

I honestly don't get what Haemimont were thinking when they created the game's default sim-speed system. Especially since it wasn't like that for Tropico 5, their previous game

...anyway, good thing we got modders like you ChoGGi, to correct some of the abysmal mistakes of inattentive devs
