Hello, thank you so much for providing this mod and keeping it up to date. I just wanted to mention that the machine_01_ringworld_destroyed_entity lacks scaling.

***With today's major update for ACG this mod currently needs an update. Don't try to use this mod with the most current version of ACG unless AryxErin updated it! If you want to continue an old save-game then please use the legacy versions of ACG

cant seem to build the defence platforms in the shi[p designer with this mod. dont know what the cause of it is. ,aybne a mod conflict???

Just a minor bug report: running only Machine Ships and ACG as in the load order below, the battleship is missing all its exhaust particle effects.

Error log that might be relevant:

[19:22:22][pdx_entity.cpp:140]: Couldn't find particle 3D object "machine_01_0_65_exhaust_idle_particle" (or machine_01_0_65_exhaust_idle_particle is not of 'pdxparticle' type)
[19:22:22][pdx_entity.cpp:140]: Couldn't find particle 3D object "machine_01_0_65_ship_exhaust_moving_particle" (or machine_01_0_65_ship_exhaust_moving_particle is not of 'pdxparticle' type)
[19:22:22][pdx_entity.cpp:2521]: Duplicate of machine_01_battleship_entity added to entity system

Cruisers and destroyers (maybe others) are also missing one or two exhaust plumes.

I've redownloaded all three mods and verified Stellaris files.

@Ajey Just loading those mods and it seems to work fine! Everything updated correctly as far as I could tell, but I was also running other mods from your How I Play ACG collection so there may be some other issue that needs ironing out post-2.8. I'll do some more experimenting to try and isolate the issue, but otherwise I'll just have to wait a little for everyone to update. (play another game that isn't stellaris? unheard of.)

are you using any incompatible mods with ACG?

I just tried myself and used those mods for testing purposes (with the following mod loading order):

1. UI Overhaul Dynamic (mandatory for ACG)
2. Machine Shipset
3. Aesthetic Cinematic Gameplay
4. ACG UI Icon Addition
5. Machine Ships: ACG edition

=> carriers and dreadnoughts are looking and working as intended with custom machine shipset graphics but usable with ACG

=> if you are using those mods and encounter bugs then the most likely reason is that one of the mods was not updating correctly. in that case make sure that your mods have the correct file size by comparing your mods file size in the stellaris launcher with the mods file size shown on the steam workshop mod-page

I love both Machine Ships and ACG and I would love to use them both, but the default back to the mammalian dreadnought and carrier models is kinda jarring. Any chance of new models, a quick kitbash/upscaling, or even just being able to use the existing machine battleship/cruiser models respectively for ACG's dreadnought/carrier?

Aw. My ships lost their turrets, and sports ugly little boxes instead :D
Does the ACG patch needs an upgrade following your recent change with the turrets ?

I'll probably end up making the .gfx reference the new construction ship rather than having a separate mesh definition

No hurries, figured out the problem myself. Adding new to all the line regarding the Construction ship meant you had to patch this manually. Excellent work on the mod and this patch! I'd upvote both again if steam would let me!!

Has this been updated to include the new constructor model? The new model wasn't ingame when I fired it up today with this patch enabled. If it isn't what do I need to do a temp fix while I wait for an update?

I'll look into it, default machine ships does override the destroyed ring to be a machine one if that's the problem

Looks like there's a conflict between the two mods with ruined ring world sections. They're downscaled when both mods are enabled (with or without this patch). I've ensured that only the two mods plus patch were enabled, and were in the right order.
