I've tested this mod both alone with no other mods as well as with my usual list of mods and in both tests the above said options disappear.
I totally understand if you can't update the mod with every IWBUMS update, but this issue is definitely game breaking, which makes me so sad, I've really fallen in love with your mod! it never made sense to me how weak and breakable steel/metal objects were. Regardless, thank you for making this mod!
Just change the values of those very durable items from
ConditionLowerChanceOneIn = 50,
ConditionMax = 250,
to
ConditionLowerChanceOneIn = 125,
ConditionMax = 100,
The items will no longer break on load and due to break chance change the effective durability will remain the same
I just figured if I could share it with others who want a one click solution to weapon durability in game. I get that weapons breaking is a way to add difficulty to the game but at the same time, I've had the same steel hammer for close to a decade. And it's done much more strenuous things than smashing a few hundred zombie heads =)
Thanks for looking
I do know that it works fine with weapon texture mods, such as ROTFLOL's wonderful red crowbar.
However, I see that the mod is based on items_weapons.txt, will this have compatibility issues with any other mods that use it?
Genuinely don't know just asking. Thanks!
