Not one that I played back in the day, but this is a pretty classic all the back from 1996. No secret hunting or puzzle solving here, just straight up action. You'll have to watch out for some enemies spawning and dropping in on you, especially in the wild west area, makes for some fun combat.

The design isn't anything too special, there are some walls with misaligned textures and the architecture sure doesn't have much on new maps we see today, but this was a pretty impressive map for the time so I wouldn't knock it.

The only thing I can say I didn't like was finding the yellow key. I spent 20 minutes trying to find it at first then felt like a complete idiot when I finally did. You're just supposed to know it's there.

Lastly, a word of warning. When you go through the teleporters back to the main hub, DO NOT MOVE until the walls have finished lowering or you'll instantly get crushed. Gotta love Build engine oddities.

Definitely worth a look for some historic fun.

This is one of my favorite duke3d maps of all time :D It's not the best detailed map ever, but the time travel and the different locations are awesome :D

This one of the first user maps I remember playing way back. It was just as fun to play again as it was back then. Really good level and highly recommend.

The idea of the map is amazing, I really enjoy playing it! I love the tricks you need to do to progress on it. If there were better textures and polishing, this map would be one of the best in workshop.

I have a question. Does this map have an exit button? I am in duke's apartment at the end and I can't find the button here.

I thought this one has some cool gimmicks going on to keep it very interesting and moving. Although I had trouble finding the first card. And I didn't realize that if you go back through the portal from the graveyard right away, it glitches and you're trapped. that pissed me off. Not sure if it was a design flaw or a glitch. I also noticed that jumping through the mirror sometimes would send me to a rectangular, all grey room with nothing in it, rather than putting me in the place I was going to. You can jump out and jump back no problem but... it's weird. And the first two warps from the time machine had me land in front of water and get hurt rather than land me in it. But the rest of it seemed to function fine. Cool use of cards and portals, the time machine was cool, the areas were neat, ghosts dudes and the push message in the mirror were nice touches. Although I was hitting the mirror anyway to get Duke to quote, haha. I'll certainly be playing this again.

Oh! lol, I failed to notice you weren't talking in present tense. I thought you were talking about the Megaton release being six months previous! My mistake. Nothing to see here, move along...this isn't the post you're looking for...

This map was released in 1996, you mongoloid.

Six months? I'm afraid youv'e left off a couple of years there. Duke Nukem 3d has been out for many years, and Megaton Edition is as rehashing of the game with some upgrades. They kept the same levels, enemies, etc from the original, and even the graphics style with some tweaking.

Those are very valid criticisms, but it still amazes me how fresh this map feels considering Duke Nukem 3D had only been out for SIX MONTHS.

Just played it. I had never played it before and it has some really cool stuff : like a good looking car, that "get behind the mirror by pushing it" trick which I had never seen before let alone in a map so old, and also the hanging trap was cool. The crane "puzzle" at the end was pretty inovative too but I couldn't figure it out on my own and had to cheat to understand I was supposed to do that... oh well.

Really cool map especially for its time, with cool tricks and an original theme and idea as well. Just suffers from poor texturing at times and the western area felt too squarish and empty.
