Just build it in Survival on Earth-Like. And man, what a feeling of an achievement! Absolutely a beautiful yet functional ship. Keep up the good work!

Found your beautiful ship but I can't seem to get the LCDs or the Inventory scripts to work. When I go into the prog blocks and run them they don't work. When I go in to Edit and Check Code there are errors. It looks like the versions in the prog blocks are maybe out of date but when I install the current version of those scripts they don't work. Not sure what I'm missing here. Love the ship but the LCD wall was part of the reason I grabbed it. Any help is appreciated. Thanks for all your work. :-)

One of the best ships of all time. I still don't understand why it's not in the top 10 ships.

The tires don't deform when shot, so they protect from fire damaging blocks behind the tire if the armor over the tire is damaged. The landing gear does not retract, that's why it's set into the belly.

So I am wondering what the tires are for and if it has anything to do with the landing gear? IF it allows the landing gear to retract, I can not figure out how to make it work. Please any advice would be appreciated. Thank You

Nice ship. Solid mobile base for a midsized civilian craft.

I tried adding a remote but it didn't work with the control seat set to Main Cockpit so I think I forgot to put it back in. Whoops. Thanks for the info on AutoLCD too.

You can replace the light armor block directly aft of the Air Vent on the bridge with either a Remote Control or an additional PB and have it remain sealed, and you can replace the 2 Interior Plate blocks behind the head with a Remote Control as you said, but the PB can go directly behind it between the LCD and the Remote - that still is sealed then, no need to put it in the back.

So I like what you did with the new version, although I'd have liked it better if you stuck a remote & extra PB in :P
At least there is still space for them without too much trouble (remote still behind the head and the PB on top of the large h2 thruster).
Oh, and your LCD is 2 versions behind (v:2.0178 is current)

Thanks! I'm working on a new version that has a fully walkable rear engineering area and is able to be traversed with no jetpack - keep an eye out for it!

Really nice ship. Nice shape, nice looking, nice paint job. The sparse-but-effective interior, the upper bunks, the battered armor, all give a good long-hauler feel to it. I like the wrap-around airlocks, which are a simple but interesting and effective variation. Very compact but provides full functionality. Nice fields of fire provide comprehensive coverage with only a few turrets. Nice upper flight deck and the dorsal "beams" give a really good look. I thought the innards were inaccessible until I realised you can sneak up beside the upward large H2. Very impressive.

Nothing major, I mean after all I like the ship more or less as it is. Even the blue & grey is my typical color scheme. Funny how after years of hating the default scratched armor texture, I am learning to love the battered. Wear and tear look done right vs letting a giant space cat claw at it.

Oh, and then there's that nav light, but no screenshot. :P
And of course the RUM upgrade, which is a neat concept to do like that. Although you still need to make an updated full BP for the repair projector, it isn't hard to do at least.

Thanks for your feedback! It's definitely designed to allow you to make changes as you see fit, especially in the forward areas - the rear is pretty heavily packed and optimized. I don't use those same things you do but they're definitely a worthwhile investment if you need them.

Unfortunately LCDs and cryopods are not airtight, so I'm not sure if the forward med bay would remain airtight, but definitely would be interested in seeing what you come up with if you care to take a few screenshots.

I hit the character limit lol. Replace catwalks with an LCD for rangefinder and another locker (seals against cryopod).

Also the white nav light goes on the rear not on the nose :P Always good to see other people use them though.

Hope to see more from you in the future. Keep up the good work!

It's rare to find decent looking ships that are also practical for survival. This seems like a really great starter ship for planet-side. Being an Ion guy myself I'm looking forward to giving this a whirl (along with your trucks)

A couple small mods I made pre-game on a creative walk through that you might want to think about:
I find a rangefinder script pretty handy (I currently use https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1536579969 since "scan and fly to target" is out of date and only half works, this one seems pretty good. I know Blargs is pretty popular but I don't like it). Also a remote control auto-pillok. Slight modification to the head makes room easy enough. Ditch the door, move the shitter and shower over 1 block, an interior block to maintain compartment airseal and the remote in the now vacant spots. The 2nd light being uneeded in this small space, it gets removed and the range finder program block fits on top of the shower.

That's awesome! I've had hilarious amounts of trouble trying to scale it up - the problem is it loses a lot of the character that the shapes of the tanks and atmo thrusters bring it when you scale the rest of the hull up I think. I certainly don't mind, just credit me as an inspiration. :steamhappy: I'll look forward to seeing what you build if you put on the workshop, or feel free to drop me a steam friend/message me with screenshots.

Just a heads up, I finally finished settling the Star System flying the Bastet.

Despite some small accidents (mostly for hauling cargo beyond weight specifications), it was a great experience in a Safe SP environment.

In fact, I hope you don't mind some plagiar... admiration: I'm a couple days in working on a larger ship inspired by this design.

Anyway, thanks again!

@fkotsuka Great to hear you liked it so much! That's some good feedback, thanks a bunch. I agree that it's better off by default because it gets auto-enabled in combat mode anyway. I've never built it via printer, so I didn't think of the simspeed hit. Let me know if you run into any other oddities that you think could use a fix - I've used this in a bunch of survival games but there's always changes that can be made.

Awesome ship! I strongly avoid downloading stuff, but your ship really tempted me!

Just one small thing, I believe it comes with the Repair Projector turned on, so as soon as it was printed, I had two projections going on at the same time and my PC took a hard simspeed hit.

Other than that, I'm finishing charging and can't wait to fly her around (preferably to the Moon to grab some Platinum and more Gold for the Jump Drives).

this ship is awsome
