I know im a bit late to the party but correct me if im wrong please, the building you described as Edinburgh Castle is NOT Edinburgh castle but the old Calton Jail and is in the correct place! I cant see your route update cause for some reason it wont let me drive but the original route is correct.

Why is this only letting me go to haymarket and select no route ??

Whatever, I'll update it but just use Calton Hill as Edinburgh Castle, and put Calton Hill back to its place. Happy now? :)

Whenever I take a train into Edinburgh I always see Edinburgh Castle up on the right on the approach.

It looks like Edinburgh Castle but if it's Calton Hill, why wasn't Edinburgh Castle included originally?
CRWLY 4 May, 2014 @ 12:58pm
thats not edinburgh castle its calton hill and is in the right place.

Coming Soon...
I've been to the beautiful Isle of Arran several times, and I think it's time to get 'Scotland in miniature' into the simulation world...

Even though I discovered it a while back, I still can't get over how DTG could make the silly mistake of putting Edinburgh Castle on the wrong side!!! How could they make that mistake?!

This is a reply to Jonathan01,
I thought that building was on the wrong side! I originally made a mistake - I forgot to clone the original Edinburgh Glasgow route. The Fife Circle line is now a different route altogether.
To answer your question, with the Fife Circle Line project I am completing stations first - they are very important. Scenery is also important but stations come first.
Although this does include the first phase of the Fife Circle, I will not be extending it on here.

Very nice when will you extend the line from North Queensferry PS: just letting you know the station building is on the wrong side.

This is a reply to driverlewis,
In what way? Is there a fault with the route or you simply don't like it?

Version 1.5 will be coming later on - a lot more platform clutter added to stations, and also a track and scenery extension along Bo'ness Heritage Railway.

A new route will be coming soon; a fictional subway service in and around Dunfermline in Fife (I have such a fantasy for fictional routes!). The first branch released will be the Line 5 Shuttle I have thought up; from Cowdenbeath Town Centre to Lumphinnans. All other lines of this made-up metro will follow later on.

This update includes the first phase of the Fife Circle Line; incomplete, but a rough sketch.

Update of Edinburgh to Glasgow! Fixed alot of tiny things but the major thing is Edinburgh's Castle... I don't know if you noticed but it was put on the wrong side.
