Since there's no "edit" button: Please disregard my previous post. I believe that I found a slightly busted combination of skills that made one of the abilities from this mod a little too good. I'll leave an edited version of my previous post below.

I've tried everything I can think of, but for some reason, no matter what I do, your 5 classes do not show up in the list of classes. I remade the config folder, didn't make them appear. I uninstalled and re-downloaded the mod, didn't make them appear. I disabled all other mods except for only dependencies of this mod and all of the dependencies of those mods ad infinitum, didn't appear. I even checked the integrity of the cache. I'm at a loss, any help would be appreciated

Never used anything but the Stormcaller till now and wow the Operator is great

I've gotten to a point where I should be able to build better gauntlets, but I cannot.
(I can build the normal templar gauntlets, but I cannot equip those in the offhand)

I'm using this with Covert Infiltration, RPGO, True Primary Secondaries and Prototype arsenal (among plenty of other mods, though I kind of assume one of the last three are the issue)

I've already tried to use Prototype Arsenal's "auto" convert config setting, to no avail.
Does anyone have an idea as to how I can get access to better gauntlets?
(I also cannot use the console to give me copies of them)

i'm having the same issue. i managed to add "PsiAmp" as a valid weapon type for these abilities, and they show up just fine... but they deal no damage at all, which is kind of killing my thunder-mage build.

i am using the No More Psi Amps mod, but i thought that was basically just a texture/ animation replacer, so i wouldn't have expected it to really affect anything mechanical...

is there an easy fix for this?

caster gauntlet is bugged for lightning damn... was about to ask why the abilities deal no damage guess i have my answer.

"replace_psiamp" is the weapon category for PZ's Psionic Melee, which is essentialy a secondary version of templar gauntlets that can also do regualr psi stuff. Stormcaller abilities only work with those or regular templar gauntlets. regular psi amps don't have the volt animation so would just result in a lot of awful t-posing.

A little late I guess, but I'm trying to use the stormcaller, and I grabbed the Storm Shock ability, but when I'm on a mission, the ability isn't even on my skill bar. I'm using a psiamp. Also, what does "Replace_PsiAmp" mean?! The requirements for the specialization say
"Gauntlet, Replace_PsiAmp."

hey i'm trying your mod with lwotc , found a little probleme and anyone's help would be great , holotargeter and other lw2 weapons like that don't have an ability assigned (so if a soldier have them as secondary, well they wont use them since there is no ability assigned to it) to the weapon, is that normal or i'm i doing something wrong (the mod works great withoout lw2)

Is operator chaining jolt and voltaic arc meant to count as electric damage? They dont seem to benefit from electrician origin perk.

Caster Gauntlets are missing some entries in their bonus damage array (Stormcaller uses unique damage tags to make their stuff do electrical damage). Didn't realize that caster gauntlets used a seperate config entry for it. Will add.

The Stormcaller abilities do not do any damage when using the "Caster Gauntlets", atleast, when I used them in an utility slot.

The shard gauntlets don't have an image in the armory; view the soldier's screen on the secondary weapon slot. When you view soldiers, you see the secondary weapons like a pistol, arc thrower, etc. However, for the ones that have replace_psiamps shows instead, img!

all of the perks are contained in Mitzruti's Perk Pack, where XComMZPerkPack is the primary config file.

Just curious, where are the actual perks drawn from? Because I like to fiddle around with mods, and couldn't find a "XComGameData_SoldierSkills" anywhere in the mix.

I've encountered a few bugs - the random targeting Stormcaller abilities do not function when they choose to target a mechanical unit.
Also, the Operator's Voltaic Arc (haven't tested other electric attacks) seems to take properties from the primary weapon such as the shred and rupture from a Glaive primary resulting in it being hilariously overpowered. It also doesn't have an animation (which may be related to using primary melee) - I'm using Chaining Jolt on another soldier with rifle primary and everything seems fine.

Aid protocol is the defense buff ability that you get just for equipping a gremlin. I don't see much point in adding a heal effect to an ability that already heals.

are you using any sort of psi overhaul that might have special conditions for if a soldier can equip a psiamp?

Might it be possible to have the healing aid ability also work on the valkyrie specilasiations healing stream , since it and aid Protocol are mutually exclusive ?

I always enjoy new psi and other unique gear based specializations. Only issue is at times I wish there was a primary amp, possible a staff or unique gauntlet that functions as an amp to free up the secondary weapon slot for stuff like ballistic shields and such.

Theses specializations do work with primary holotargeter and Arcthrower without any modification on the user side so that is pretty epic and I can use a Psi amp with a arcthrower!!!

Not sure if it's due to Psionic Melee (Which is a prereq for this) or this mod itself, but it seems to completely remove the ability to use psi-amps. Anyone else running into this issue? I'm willing to do some legwork to try and find a fix, but so far I've had no success on my own.

@thenolanverse Yeah for anyone else having issues, running the alternate launcher fixed the issue for me though I used the one in the Steam/steamapps/common/XCOM2/Xcom2-WarOfTheChosen/Binaries/Win64/Launcher and ran the ModLauncherWPF as Administrator to turn the mods on.

Oh never mind, I got it to work. Not sure exactly as I use roughly 200 mods. But all I did was run the alternate launcher and have it clean the mods. Now this one works along with my game running quite a bit smoother and faster. But again I have 200 mods going.

In XComRPG.ini the line with MZGremlinInsanity is missing a closing ). I'm working on a syntax fixer tool that catches little issues like this but I still have to polish it some more before release.

@Voidight few days ago I think, it the same as the Chimera Squad one but since the change over happened tome people have been having this issue. For me this was the one that just stood out and made me look into it since I've never had an Issue with an RPGO Mod before.

I've seen a lot of people having trouble getting the new firaxis launcher to clue in that they've got new mods. Not sure what hoop-jumping is required to fix that.
The AML still works fine tho. you may want to consider getting that set up.

I can't seem to access these classes, I've made a new game to make sure it wasn't that and I can't seem to find any of them on the listings. I don't know if I just have some random conflict with some other mod or if there is something else I've missed to make them work.
