Is it possible to add Map 49 to the system? I tried to create Scenario 121 and could not find map 49. Thanks again,
Tarpon
Once again - this is a fantastic module - you should be very proud of it.
Marty
1. Open the build.
2. Right Click on the map in the center of the table and select CLONE.
3. Find a spot on the table to place the 'clone' on the table. (hit esc key to end the clone process).
4. Right click on the new map and select custom.
5. Replace the top image and bottom image with yours. (Select cloud storage to save the update.)
6. Check the map for image quality etc. If you like it then...
7. Games (icon top of screen to the left) -> Save and Load -> Save Game (Green button in menu on top of screen) -> Name and save.
8. You can open your save whenever you want to use your new map.
9. You could of course fiddle around to find a way to add it to the collection of maps in the center of the table! I would have to do some work to figure that out! But at a minimum, you can try your new maps!
Enjoy.
Playtesting has ceased due to the lockdown status here in Ireland - is it possible to upload one's own maps into this module for personal use in order to continue playtesting online? I'm very new to TTS, so would be very grateful indeed for any help or advice you could give to me regarding this.
Thanks again for this module - it looks fantastic.
It’s much easier for both players to look at the cards played by both sides. All the units are oriented the same way too. Also for solo you don’t get the ‘table rotate’ when changing teams,
I didn’t move the tracker but I guess that would work well.
I have...
Camera 1 main map and usual view
Camera 2 tracker
Camera 3 fortifications and markers stock
Camera 4 unit stock
It works extremely well. You mod is great
One BIG thing that has made life better is that I have BOTH players on the south of the board with all cards nearby. That's a great help in that both players see the map and counters the right way round. If I could make one suggestion, it would be to do that with the player locations.
One thing that would be very helpful is if you could add STATE to each unit such that it can be shown as ACTIVATED and create a red border. Then at end of order, have a button scripted to return all ACTIVATED units to UNACTIVATED.
Unless I am missing something there is no way to show which units have been activated this order. Just like in real life!
A lot of people just create a mod for the sake of it and obviously have never played. The VP track was an example of this in the mod you used as a base so well done for changing this.
Just a tip as I find this a bit annoying.
