Added the components for BP3 Normandy.

Hi, this is a great tool and we have been using it a lot during the Pandemic. Thank you.
Is it possible to add Map 49 to the system? I tried to create Scenario 121 and could not find map 49. Thanks again,
Tarpon

Ahh Great. Thank you!
ODA-011  [author] 23 Jan, 2021 @ 6:19am
Taki1980: When in the states, HOVER over a number and the 'tip' will give you the actual map number. This was a GREAT ides by the original designer!!! So right click on the 'map', click the 'states' option, then hover your mouse over a number to see the 'actual map number'.
Taki1980 22 Jan, 2021 @ 2:00am
How can i see through all the Maps? Its hard to click all 81 Map "States" to get the Right Map going for that Scenario
ODA-011  [author] 15 Jan, 2021 @ 10:22am
Martymoller - It's an OK one off solution to test your boards. You can create your own 'state' board as well. It requires you get a custom tile object and create one for each board you have created. (You get this through objects->custom objects->custom tile). Once all four boards have been created withing the same 'game'. CTRL select them all and then right click one one of the maps and click 'create states'. It will then have the boards all in one group with the ability to state select the boards.....ok, enough TTS 'geeking' for the moment.

Hi Marty - glad you hooked up with ODA-011 and got it sorted. Good stuff. Sorry I couldn't help you myself.
martymoller 15 Jan, 2021 @ 6:36am
ODA-011 - thank you so much! I really appreciate you taking the time to walk me through that - I'm very grateful indeed to you!

Once again - this is a fantastic module - you should be very proud of it.

Marty

martymoller: Creating a map based on your 'image' in this build is easy.

1. Open the build.
2. Right Click on the map in the center of the table and select CLONE.
3. Find a spot on the table to place the 'clone' on the table. (hit esc key to end the clone process).
4. Right click on the new map and select custom.
5. Replace the top image and bottom image with yours. (Select cloud storage to save the update.)
6. Check the map for image quality etc. If you like it then...
7. Games (icon top of screen to the left) -> Save and Load -> Save Game (Green button in menu on top of screen) -> Name and save.
8. You can open your save whenever you want to use your new map.
9. You could of course fiddle around to find a way to add it to the collection of maps in the center of the table! I would have to do some work to figure that out! But at a minimum, you can try your new maps!

Enjoy.

Hi ODA-11 - this is really good - many thanks indeed! I have a question - myself & my buddy are currently designing a few CC scenarios and have made a few maps for these scenarios using the Hexdraw program.

Playtesting has ceased due to the lockdown status here in Ireland - is it possible to upload one's own maps into this module for personal use in order to continue playtesting online? I'm very new to TTS, so would be very grateful indeed for any help or advice you could give to me regarding this.

Thanks again for this module - it looks fantastic.
Fentum 9 Jan, 2021 @ 8:28am
Sounds good.
ODA-011  [author] 9 Jan, 2021 @ 7:28am
Nice work Fentum! Starting to consider a Discord TTS Combat Commander Community similar to the 'War of the Ring' TTS community.
Fentum 9 Jan, 2021 @ 3:21am
I moved the terrain chart, rules summary and rulebook over a little to give more room for the cards.
Fentum 9 Jan, 2021 @ 1:44am
I moved both hands, plus the card and discard stacks to the south and added two ‘digital counters’ near the card stacks.

It’s much easier for both players to look at the cards played by both sides. All the units are oriented the same way too. Also for solo you don’t get the ‘table rotate’ when changing teams,

I didn’t move the tracker but I guess that would work well.

I have...

Camera 1 main map and usual view
Camera 2 tracker
Camera 3 fortifications and markers stock
Camera 4 unit stock

It works extremely well. You mod is great
ODA-011  [author] 5 Jan, 2021 @ 1:31pm
Update: Added the Additional Counters for the Stalingrad Battle Pack #2.
ODA-011  [author] 5 Jan, 2021 @ 1:30pm
Fentum: Interesting suggestion. You moved both 'Hand Zones' to the 'South' of the table? Then did you move the tracker to the top of the table? I will discuss that with my 'battle' partner!
Fentum 5 Jan, 2021 @ 11:27am
Thanks. I have made a few simple mods when I play. I use a double sided control marker to mark VP, and I use a very large counter 'calculator' gadget to lock fire totals, etc.

One BIG thing that has made life better is that I have BOTH players on the south of the board with all cards nearby. That's a great help in that both players see the map and counters the right way round. If I could make one suggestion, it would be to do that with the player locations.
ODA-011  [author] 5 Jan, 2021 @ 9:10am
Fentum: We are using the 'Lock' TTS feature on the VP marker now. (The right click menu item.) This has helped us not move it back accident when we are zoomed out! Thinking it is the FP tracker! Thought I would pass on the 'tip'.
Fentum 4 Jan, 2021 @ 9:41am
LOL. We are running through Sea Lion and are 8 scenarios in. Great game, great scenarios, great module.
ODA-011  [author] 4 Jan, 2021 @ 9:30am
Fentum - Thanks for your kind words. We as well have a weekly cycle going! We are 36 scenarios in since COVID started. (BattlePack Two, Stalingrad!).
Fentum 2 Jan, 2021 @ 7:08am
Hi ODA-011. Just to say once again that I am loving using your module on a weekly basis. Great effort.
ODA-011  [author] 1 Jan, 2021 @ 7:58am
Tarpon, S-69 is working on my hardware. A potential workaround is to save the deck locally as a saved object. When the issue happens, you can reload the 'deck' and replace the card that has failed. Right Click on the 'deck' before game play and clicked 'save object'. Give it a name and save. During the game if the problem happens, click on 'Objects' at the top of the screen. Click on saved objects and open your 'saved deck'. Right click and search for the 'corrupted' card and pull it onto the table to replace the card. This MIGHT work as a work around for you!
ODA-011  [author] 1 Jan, 2021 @ 7:47am
Tarpon, We once encountered an issue using High level graphic settings on a mid to lower end PC in 'server play'. It caused items to go 'blank with no image' on the national 'control counters'. This happened ONLY on 'the less powerful pc'. So you might try an adjustment to graphic settings and see if that helps the image return. ( I will take a look at the card in my build as well)
Tarpon 30 Dec, 2020 @ 8:43am
Thanks for this, it works well. Odd thing happened. The Russian S69 card simply turned blank white and there was no way we could fix it. We just set it aside. Any thoughts as to the problem?
Fentum 19 Aug, 2020 @ 6:21am
You are absolutely right! Really loving using this mod. Great job to you and all the giants on whose shoulders you stood.
ODA-011  [author] 18 Aug, 2020 @ 5:57am
Fentum, that is by the game designer's design. To have them on the back of a smoke marker! Smile.
Fentum 17 Aug, 2020 @ 9:01am
If there's a way that you can add in a blaze marker, that would be good, as blaze is not contigent on smoke.
Fentum 12 Aug, 2020 @ 3:21pm
Ok thanks. I have been using your mod to put AARs up on the BGG CC:E Sea Lion page. Rather lovely.
ODA-011  [author] 12 Aug, 2020 @ 10:46am
@Fentum, they are on the back of the smoke markers in the smoke bag. Part of the gameplay that you need to remove a smoke marker to get a blaze marker. Another randomization of effects on game play.
Fentum 10 Aug, 2020 @ 1:29pm
I managed to move the hands around so it's great to solo now. One question... where are the BLAZE markers?
Fentum 3 Aug, 2020 @ 1:41pm
Great module. How can I move the assets and hands both to the bottom to play 'side by side' rather than top and bottom?
ODA-011  [author] 30 Jul, 2020 @ 5:19pm
Caprica55, Pacific has been created. The real work done by the authors credited above. We are just enjoying the layout of the materials in this fashion!
Caprica55 23 Jul, 2020 @ 8:13pm
Are you thinking of doing the same for the CC:Pacific?
Caprica55 23 Jul, 2020 @ 7:40pm
Thanks for this mod -- very well done! I can't imagine the work that this would take to create all these components. I took a look at the Vassal assets and would have been a ton of work to create the counters in TTS.
Fentum 23 Jul, 2020 @ 5:11am
This is an excellent mod - thank you.

One thing that would be very helpful is if you could add STATE to each unit such that it can be shown as ACTIVATED and create a red border. Then at end of order, have a button scripted to return all ACTIVATED units to UNACTIVATED.

Unless I am missing something there is no way to show which units have been activated this order. Just like in real life!
ODA-011  [author] 19 Jul, 2020 @ 4:03pm
added the artillery box missing from the digital maps next to the player decks on both sides of the table!
ODA-011  [author] 14 Jul, 2020 @ 5:58am
Added scripting for passing the initiative card between players. We found picking up the card and sliding it over to the next player 'annoying' to game play. Just click on the center of the card entitled 'pass card' and it will move it to the other player!
Bish 13 Jul, 2020 @ 7:13am
Nice implementation, at least you actually play this game.
A lot of people just create a mod for the sake of it and obviously have never played. The VP track was an example of this in the mod you used as a base so well done for changing this.
ODA-011  [author] 12 Jul, 2020 @ 8:33pm
Agreed. We do the same thing after picking the map we need!
Bish 12 Jul, 2020 @ 6:42pm
Turning off tool tips for the maps gets rid of the map number and name that appears when the mouse hovers over it.
Just a tip as I find this a bit annoying.
ODA-011  [author] 12 Jul, 2020 @ 4:15pm
Added some script to manage passing the initiative card. That got to be annoying when it was getting passed back on forth in a given dice roll.
