Hey there, I'm not able to find Jordanisgreat on fiverr, and the link does not work for me. Could you possibly drop it here in the comments? Thank you so much!

I at first was enraged to see the Kelpie listed as a part of Greek mythology, but on closer inspection, the flag of Scotland is just the upper corner of the Greek flag cropped and rotated and kilts are just fustanellas that come in plaid. I regretfully had to inform my friend today that she isn't Scottish, she actually lives in Greece. It was a shock to both of us. I don't know if I can carry on from here...

Kelpie is Scottish, it appears as a horse, its main always wet and its hooves appearing reversed, otherwise, it looks like a horse. The greek myth is a hippocampus, which is basically a horse/mermaid top half horse, bottom half fish.

Adding to what Mecheon said, Kelpies, in their horse forms, often have seaweed stuck in their mains and tails and have sticky coats that they use to drag any who touch them into the water to drawn and then eat. The only ways to escape is to either cut off whatever part of you is touching them or grab their halter, as they have to obey if their halter is being held. If, by chance, you get away from a Kelpie encounter with its halter, it's said you can summon it back to you, though why you would want a carnivorous demon horse helping you is a bit of a mystery, if you ask me.

lemme just drive by mythology: Kelpies are not from Greek mythology. They are from Celtic mythology, with the most recognisable being the Scottish myths related to them and their association with lochs. They also have a shapeshifting aspect and are capable of transforming into the shape of humans at times.
