Just wish I knew what assets were used in the screenshots. Particularly those glass buildings in front of the station.
It's actually with all custom train stations from the workshop. Something in the game is messing intercity trains for workshop stations up.
But I don't really understand what you mean with "make sure the A is selected in the menu". Which menu? Do you mean Fine Road Anarchy Mod? I guess I should make it a requirement then.
I guess there must have been some wrong settings from me when I tested it previously :S
What I found from my latest observation is that trains from each outside connection only stop at the certain system-assigned platform/track. And the train stops spawning if you try to change it by cutting the connection or even adjusting the connection via TMPE. So if you want all 4 tracks to be used, you need to have at least 4 different outside connection(maybe more than 4 because they might take A&B platform on the same track, but 4 is enough in my case)
I updated it to a version without the new decal and the metro entrance with the station, but with the new design. So it has a glas roof and more props. I'm afraid you will have to rebuild the station again.
@hanschen84625
I kept the original track layout and pedestrian paths. Maybe that has a positive effect on intercity trains. I would appreciate, if you could tell me your observations.
Tell me, if you have new information about intercity behavior. Do they stop at track 1 and 4 if only those are connected?
And yes, intercity trains stop at all four tracks before. But they only stop at the 2. and 3. track now. My current solution is to designate 1. and 4. track as exclusive for innercity trains so that I can avoid the congestion at the station.
I have tested all four tracks. I admit it is more difficult now - probably because of the metro tracks below - but it is possible to assign all four tracks to train routes.
It is probably a good idea to use Advanced Stop Selection Mod: https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1394468624
Did Intercity trains stop at all four tracks before? The game decides based upon unknown reasons, which tracks it chooses at multiplatform stations. I can't assign anything there.
I checked the route connect issue again. At least in my case, whenever I connect a route to this station, it only assign the second track(if you look from the front) to any new route. While trains from other cities can stop at both the 2. and the 3. track(maybe 1. and 4. are available as well, but I haven't seen them stop there.....)
I think it is just fine that you keep this asset the way it is now as I guess it doesn't really affect to most of the subscribers. Plus I really like this update and am getting used to it now :)
I think it will just be even better if the connection problem can be solved.
"And I noticed that the supporting pillars at the entrance are pulled as the asset is lifted, which can be seen in screenshot_3" That is because I used the NoBase shader for the metro entrance.
I can go back to the previous version and upload the update as a new asset. I didn't want to spam the workshop with identical assets, but that is probably the best for those who are used to the old version.
I found the same problem which I couldn't connect the route(I assume that's what you mean?). The solution for me is to have all 4 tracks connected to each other as it doesn't allow me to pick the platform like before, the station assigns the platform to any new routes instead.
Please don't say sorry, your amazing work should always be appreciated!
Maybe I exaggerated a bit, haha. But there are indeed some parts that require adjustment since I placed this asset as an elevated station as shown below and I will make a new plan to hide the paths to the lower parts.

Two thing that I'm now struggling with are the sunken entrance to the subway and the newly added decal.

And I noticed that the supporting pillars at the entrance are pulled as the asset is lifted, which can be seen in screenshot_3
Yeah, sorry :| But why does it affect your surroundings so much? I left it at exactly the same size as before.
But it's gonna be a lot of work to rebuild the surroundings, haha :'(
