@MarMite You need to understand that I did not create this GPS mod from whole cloth. I converted it from an existing real-world GPS unit. Who says what in the list of comments is neither under My control nor My problem.

This one sucks, far too much May, Clarkson only says one line after may says turn left (no doubt a euro bash but the voice is low) and Hammond also has only 1 or 2 lines and you can not hear half of what he is saying......

Rename it to James May talks bollocks ;)

it works fine with 1.42.1 just need to select it from the audio settings like usual, dont sound very alive and like em though. A bit boring

I have not heard of anyone else using this mod having game freezes. If anyone else reports it, I will take a look and if My mod is at fault, I will make any required corrections.

hi i love this mod annoyingly it froze in game before i could start my truck could it a bug if it was a bug could it be fixed or not has anybody else had any problems

I have been testing this with the released version (1.40) of ETS2. It seems to work fine.
The issues people were having were probably caused by the BETA.
SCS themselves make clear: You use mods with the beta at Your own risk.

I've been getting reports that is does not work on 1.40. I am waiting for the game to come out of beta and for stem uploader to support 1.40 before I can update.

Also, a tip if you by chance have an RTX card: It's possible to use RTX voice even on recorded clips to isolate the voices and completely remove background noise. It's really effective at that and should be way easier and faster than trying to edit the audio yourself.

Anyway, thanks again for this excellent mod and please keep up the good work! It deserves to be the best it can be.

Great mod! Works well in 1.39. Would love a bit more variety in the comments, though. It's possible to add as many recomputing, speed warning, start, finish and u-turn commands as you want so there's lots of potential!

The long comment for speed warning gets particularly repetitive after a while. Would be super nice if you could cut it short to just say "speed camera ahead" and also add some different sound clips for it to choose from. Jeremy's comments after the "keep left" and "keep right" are also a bit out of place. It's a bit jarring to hear him say "Good job on the Grand Tour" every time I need to keep left. I think it would be better to have just the command itself on those even if it means the audio cuts off a bit abruptly.

Thats one of the "compound" comments. He's saying "Good job on the Grand Tour." The reason the speaker changes, is just because I was running out of material for the extra comments, and had to improvise. I just noticed, though, that there is a little unwanted audio after "job" that is muddying it up. I will clean it up and update the mod. Good ear!

hello wdbames2. Mod works okish for me. Slight issue when james is saying "keep left" or "keep right" you hear clarkson in there aswell muttering some gibberish lol. Not sure if thats deliberate or not.

Just to be sure, I downloaded the mod that is on the steam server. It works perfectly on My system. Possibly it might be conflicting with another mod. Try it in a test profile, to make sure there isn't some other problem.

Hey the idea was good, but I don't think it is working properly on 1.37 even I put it to the top priority. When I clicked the preview sound button in the voice navigation page, there are no sound.
Can you fix it?
