For some reason, while all other Merrick civs seem to be working with Historical Spawn Dates, this one is not. I don't mean just that it doesn't have a spawn date, as those can be added manually or in the files. I mean that it gives the mod conflict "some mods failed to load correctly" error. I'm not a modder and probably won't be able to figure out why, but I'm posting this in case it's helpful to anyone else. Also, this *used* to work with Historical Spawn Dates just fine, so perhaps some update somewhere along the line has caused the new problem.

You also gain no era points when building the unique unit.

Hello! The mod looks really good and the civ is really interesting, but when I started the game, the shrine wasn't replaced by the new building. Maybe there is a problem?

It's quite simple actually, it seems to have some problems with this part in the Ashanti_GameText.xml:

<Row Tag="LOC_COMBAT_PREVIEW_NEIGHBOR_COMBAT_BONUS_DESC" Language="en_US">
<Text>+10 [ICON_Strength] Combat Strength from nearby Capital.</Text>
</Row>

After removing it, everything is displayed correctly again.

I think it needs some fixing. The city names are...wonky.

I am not sure if this has anything to do with the recent NFP update, but when I select this civ on the selection screen, their name and both their unique unit and building have a bunch of underscores in their text, and their descriptions in the Civilopedia don't show anything either.

Just thought to mention this, and I didn't have any other mods on when I encountered this issue.

This looks awesome! You found a way to tie City-States into so many facets of the civ. Wrapping up Malta game now, think Ashanti is next :) Thank you!

Had to upload a fix. It had a bug that stopped you buying Missionaries. Should be fine now!
