If you download the assets from the Google Drive there will still be assets missing from it, but it should restore most of the buildings lost because of the deletion. Still looking for more replacements for the sets. I know some Amity series houses are gone. There is also a thread on reddit discussing False Lucdity's assets and the deletion.
Also bump for the missing LV4 Gothic A-C houses.
Thanks to @antzkillr for putting things into perspective.
I sincerely apologize to Adora_ble. Good work, keep it up.
As to how he "got them back", like many of us, he saved them from his own game files. In my case, I was able to obtain the asset ID number from the links in my Loading Screen mod, and used those ID numbers to retrieve the "lost" files from my TimeMachine backup from last week (I play on a Mac) I was able to put my cities back together pretty quickly. Other players may not be as lucky to have backups or might not understand (as apparently you don't) how to use assets in a local workshop folder.
Adora_ble is doing everyone a service by re-uploading the assets and sharing his copies of the original files. I would caution you, Hit-fist, to look at the tone of your posts and perhaps you're the one who needs to "chill".
Amazing how 15-20 assets out of 4000 can disrupt a game so much. So, again, Adora_bl, you are awesome for the work you are doing related to this "problem". I know we are all thankful for what you can save regarding FL's assets. We will be able to bring our cities back from the brink regardless, but your work will help prevent the lose of so many cims from the ether.
Via the LSM report, there is a 1980's Postal Truck that is missing and I believe was FL's asset as it appears to be gone from the workshop. Not sure if and or why it would have been a required asset. The only asset that is missing that is used by these buildings is a garage asset that, again, I believe was from FL, though I am not 100% on that due to the number of houses that use it....
I don't understand tech very well but there was no need to be rude and aggressive.
Do you snap on people like this in real life too ?
Anyway, I will hold back on uploading anything from you for now, just to see if other users have no problems with what you are giving. Assets are great and it would be awesome to get them back.
I'm sorry if I have offended you. Have a good day and chill out a bit. You won't hear from me anymore.
The assets were still on my PC because i didnt shut down steam. So steam didnt update workshop items yet.
If youre too tech illiterate to understand any of this and if you are scared by a google link its probably better that you dont even bother with this and that you leave me alone with your boomer attitude
What does it even mean to :
"use THIS link to get the ORIGINAL workshop variants with their ORIGINAL ID's so you can fix your game."
If they have been deleted by original uploader how do you get them back ?
Don't hang me, I just don't understand this and it sounds fishy. My save is working but gameplay is choppy and I'd like to make it better. I will be gratefull for answers.
