The climate screen is back when I disable the Difference Engine mod. Thanks again for your assistance.
mal 10 Apr @ 7:34pm
Thanks for your input! will try to look into it

@mal One last thing. I noticed you use BFE and there is also an issue there. It seems that you are using a modded civilization that is not properly defined, it is missing HostCivilizationName string. I cannot say which one is it, you could find out which savefile do not display properly tooltips because this is where it breaks.
infixo  [author] 10 Apr @ 3:17am
@mal CUI looks ok, I was not aware that there was a new Reloaded version.
infixo  [author] 10 Apr @ 3:15am
@mal Also, there is no mention of BCS - it does not even load. Most likely because another mod, Difference Engine, overwrites it. This one here https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2911876114

@mal You have a LOT like a LOT errors and problems in the log, you should really clean your mod list. It is really too many to analyze. Just look lof "Runtime Error" and see what mod causes it, and disable it for the time being. Once you get CLEAN log then you may start adding back mods and see if they conflict.

Here is the Log

I think there are two versions of CUI. I'm using the reloaded one (https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2471081416&searchtext=Concise+UI) , which has been great since I started using it. Please let me know if this is a CUI compatibility issue. Thanks!
infixo  [author] 9 Apr @ 12:13pm
@mal Post the log on some sharedisk or civfanatics, so I can take a look. cui_log looks like some old mod, I mean I am not sure CUi still works?
mal 9 Apr @ 10:31am
I found sth as shown below in the lua.log file

cui_log: Better Climate Screen (UI)
cui_log: [上次更新:2023年5月3日 下午3:18:33]
cui_log: https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2114277246
cui_log: Enabled ........................................... [ true ]
cui_log: Compatible ........................................ [ true ]

Should it be considered loaded successfully? But it still doesn't show the climate page when I press it in the game.
mal 9 Apr @ 10:26am
Thanks for your reply. I've obtained the lua.log file. Could you let me know what I should be looking for? Is it possible for you to take a look at it? I've added you as a friend. Thanks in advance for your assistance and for your contributions to the Civ community.
infixo  [author] 3 Apr @ 9:23am
@mal Check logs, lua.log specifically.

I have been using this mod for years, but since March, I suddenly cannot open the climate page anymore. I have figured out that the issue is with this mod. Is it possible to know which mods are interfering with it?
Nandybear 1 Oct, 2023 @ 10:28am
That's fair, I do have like 100 (that's not hyperbole). It's no biggie, if it was easy to figure out then yeah, but with that amount of mods (I can think of at least 10 which might be causing it, and my level of knowledge means I'm probably wrong on 8 and there's another 20 I didn't notice could affect it) I'll just learn to ignore it!

I really need to pare down my mods, as my late game turn times have become fairly unbearable, but I've gotten so used to the QoL improvements. Ah well.
infixo  [author] 25 Sep, 2023 @ 7:29am
@cuntism I don't think I can help. All these numbers you see on the screen are taken from the engine. The mod just presents them in a better way. In other words, this is UI mod. It doesn't change how the climate works, etc. If you experience weird behavior then it must be caused by some other mod most likely.
Nandybear 14 Sep, 2023 @ 5:12pm
Oh but the "next sea level rise" number is going up. It's now like 78 turns until next rise.

https://i.gyazo.com/fad4a4dd682f6202b2b144685f0993e3.jpg here's a pic if it's any good. The numbers are crazy because I boosted em just to get a clear "I'm deffo carbon capturing" type thing.
Nandybear 14 Sep, 2023 @ 5:10pm
I'm having an issue where no matter how much carbon capture I do, the number isn't going down (my number is 0 but it used to go into the minus, and the number at the top would also say minus)

The total is always going up, even if my personal capture is more than the total ever put out.

Thing is..this feels like new behaviour I'm sure I've seen the numbers change before. I have a LOT of mods but I can't think of any that would interfere with this. Plus, this is definitely your mod, it has the carbon capture lines and all the details from your mod, so not sure.

I am extremely late in the game and I have like 100 mods, my turn times (especially at the end of the turn when the game is coming back round to you) takes several minutes vs like 3s early game. Could the game just be spazzing out ?
infixo  [author] 10 Apr, 2023 @ 1:59pm
@teckler Log files would help.
Teckler_From_Krieg 10 Apr, 2023 @ 12:11pm
@infixo I have the same problem as Josearte777. I'll compile a mod list that I'm running and see what also edits climate and get back to you, that way we can come up with a good list of possible conflicts and I'll test for you to see what it is.

I can, also if you would like, disable every mod running except a map, play a game and see if I can recreate the issue with the climate page not opening. I noticed Civ6 had a hidden update close to the beginning of April and Idk, stuff gets messed up in weird ways. It could be a way to check to see if the issue is with the game or a conflicting mod. I have several of your other UI mods and they work fine, like the City states one.
infixo  [author] 7 Apr, 2023 @ 2:04am
@josearte I am really not able to test every mod combination. Please just run a few turns and you will see. If there are problems then come back and I will see what can be done.
josearte777 7 Apr, 2023 @ 1:46am
is it compatible with cqui lite, even with 6t, mostly it does not open the weather screen?
josearte777 24 Dec, 2022 @ 4:35am
I checked it with the concise reloaded mod that gave error
infixo  [author] 22 Dec, 2022 @ 12:04pm
@josearte777 My mod doesn't touch top panel. Probably some other mod is causing this.
josearte777 22 Dec, 2022 @ 8:55am
Climate Balance - Complete Pack, is it compatible?
josearte777 22 Dec, 2022 @ 8:46am
I use windows

@josearte777 Check your lua.log for errors.
josearte777 22 Dec, 2022 @ 5:25am
Hello, in the upper left panel I clicked on the button and it does not open.
infixo  [author] 21 Dec, 2022 @ 7:34pm
@Cuntism Thanks. That actually did the trick :)
@Chevelle03 Natural Gas now works.
Nandybear 3 Apr, 2022 @ 4:23am
@infixo CO2For1DegreeTempRise is the modifier and it's set per map size in \DLC\Expansion2\Data\Expansion2_Maps.xml, I don't know if this is any good to you
Chevelle03 4 Aug, 2021 @ 3:26pm
Can you please make this compatible with the Natural Gas Resource mod?
infixo  [author] 30 May, 2021 @ 11:35pm
@someone who wanted me to add the exact number of co2 units for next sea level change - do you know the exact formula to calculate that? The game soesn’t provide that, it needs to be calculated manually.
Adriaman 22 Apr, 2021 @ 12:48pm
Hi, this file has just been updated:
..\DLC\Expansion2\UI\Additions\ClimateScreen.lua
pauloel7 18 Apr, 2021 @ 9:51am
Understood, Infixo. TYVM.
infixo  [author] 18 Apr, 2021 @ 3:14am
Example. Resource, percentage, num1, num2, num3, num4. It means: num1 units of CO2 produced by consuming num3 units of Resource in the whole game. Last turn change was num2 and num4 respectively. Percentage is based on num1.
pauloel7 17 Apr, 2021 @ 7:09pm
The middle one, "CO2 Levels". What I actually mean to ask is what does each of the four right-most columns mean, in tables "CO2 By Resource" and "Your CO2 Contribution".
CowTank 17 Apr, 2021 @ 2:48am
@infixo Honestly, not sure what happened, but it's working now.
infixo  [author] 17 Apr, 2021 @ 2:36am
@pauloel7 Which table? There are 3.
pauloel7 16 Apr, 2021 @ 10:51pm
What's the difference between the last column and the second column before it? Mine shows +22 Coal in both. I am not consuming oil nor uranium presently.
**************________0022DE92 14 Apr, 2021 @ 6:23pm
can you add the exact number of units of CO2 needed to reach the next phase of climate change? I need to balance carbon recapture project and uses of resources.
the current "xx turn estimated to for icecap to melt" on the bottomleft of the first screen isn't helpful at all.
CowTank 29 Mar, 2021 @ 8:46am
I've done more testing and I can confirm, it doesn't work in multiplayer. It simply does not open the screen.
CowTank 26 Mar, 2021 @ 10:44am
It doesn't seem to work in multiplayer for me.
PhazezGova 9 Feb, 2021 @ 1:30am
I couldn't find anything. It works so far.
PhazezGova 8 Feb, 2021 @ 1:24pm
@infixo No problem, i will test it.
infixo  [author] 8 Feb, 2021 @ 10:49am
@phazezgova I don't use them, so maybe you check and tell us?
PhazezGova 8 Feb, 2021 @ 10:04am
Compatible with climate-mods from JNR? Thank you :)
infixo  [author] 22 Jan, 2021 @ 6:18am
@legobobafett Is it so difficult to run 2 mods and see results?
Tim Apple 21 Jan, 2021 @ 8:10am
is this compatible with concise ui and other UI mods?
eudaimonia 6 Oct, 2020 @ 3:30pm
I like your mod a lot, I'll remove the related changes in CUI.
:steamhappy:
infixo  [author] 29 Aug, 2020 @ 6:01am
@xxyy You need to decide which one you wanna use and disable the other.
