May I suggest a half grass, half pavement drive road? Grass on one side and pavement on the other, able to be flipped with the upgrade tool like the other roads :steamhappy:
Sorry if this is already part of another pack of this mod! Or I guess one could use the manual grass curb network included in one of the packs?

Having the same issues like @philiposborne. The Border does not disapper when I connect it with the Drive part. Pretty annoying

I'm getting some odd behaviour where the drive meets the border, it's like the border just ignores the fact that there is a drive there and lays grass straight across the road, although the curbs are still visible going around the corner. I'll try and get a screenshot of what I mean a little later.

yeah, i had to download Road Anarchy and turned on with Ctrl +A , the bird was on fire. and parking mod is working

im having the same issue as Saulo i have anarchy installed and turned on, and the spaces are colliding with the filler and boarder with the "space already occupied" message. also my boarder and fillers are getting names like streets and no road turning signs.

How do I make all my roads not look like they were just paved? All my parking lots are dark black and not more of a gray worn texture.

The distance between filler road and Border road is too long. It should be 3 units.

The mod alone seems to work just fine, no FPS drop.
Slight drop with "old" find it, none with the "test" find it.

There is a minor drop with the addons another modder made for this but nothing game-breaking for me. At the same time I've haven't spammed the map with it, only in a few spots as needed, and no noticeable lag

Disclaimer I have a gaming pc with 16 GB of ram and an I7CPU, with 8GM dedicated to graphics so that might explain why I haven't had such a drop.
I also am not recording video, or using many mods yet, will soon though.

I mean cities is very unforgiving for potato pcs I5 or I3 or any PC with low ram^^

My old PC crashes now just trying to load default cities sooo

I did not have any noticeable drop in FPS in the last days... I have most of the BIG parkings, all of them but the curb expansion and the dark asphalt ones, and everything seems to be working as always

So I have fiddled arround about 1 hour to test: Yes there was also an unbelievable FPS drop in my Game - but i'm not willing to say it came from the grass version. Why? I have still the grass version active an now no FPS drop anymore. But i have updated a few other mods... and i only had the FPS drop if i used Find It! to select the roads. If i used the Roads Tab it did not came up. I have right now 139 Mods and 8.5k Assets... to figure out which combination case this error will take a while.

there were two people today mentioning a massive fps drop after the update of the Grass Version yesterday. I tried to solve it and I would be very glad If everybody could write a quick comment either If the fps drop occure or if it doesn't occure. I really want to solve this problem with your help!

Once again! I don't have massive fps drops in my game so I could not know about that. But I see that two people complained here so I am shure that there is something behind that. The first on release day was my fault and I apologized for that as it was my first ever asset creation released on workshop. I think we are done with the first thing. That'll never happen again. Blame me for that.

For the error you have now multiple possibilities could have happened. As i said before the update I did was to update the EXACTLY SAME meshes that I loaded into the Basis Version on Monday. There were no complaints for three days so I updated the Grass version. I don't know what happened and it could be a mod conflict because of removing the arrows or anything else.
So I tested my releases. But I can't test my assets with every single mod in this game so there always is the chance that there may occure some errors.

@hockenheim95, I did some testing in a city of around 20k and do not have FPS loss, however I did not have grass versions prior to the update.

sorry if I offended you, but a suggestion to test things before releasing isn't meant to offend, like I said just a suggestion. I obviously thought you had made a good set of assets here and I wanted to use them in my builds, but twice a little tweak or change has literally given me hours of troubleshooting to fix problems that caused. Hopefully someone with more knowledge on how to create assets can give you some advice on how this happened. All I can do is give feedback if things break. :-)

So I did a new update (still the new version without arrows)! I loaded all new meshes into the files again and just updated it. They're the same meshes that I just in their Basic version counterparts. So I don't understand why this FPS drop only occurs with the Grass version.

Please post here if you suscribed to this mod in both cases. If it works for you and if it doesn't work. And if you have fps problems please give numbers how large that is. The only thing I can imagine is that if you removed arrows from these streets this could cause problems with other mods (because they are not there anymore). Please everyone report because for me it works even in my biggest cities (with the workshop files). There always could be conflict with mods etc but as long as I can't reproduce the error myself I am a bit helpless.

As you've already stated that you've unsuscribed from all my assets you can leave that kinds of comments to yourself. After all this is free content that I am doing as a hobby and if errors occure - that can happen. I am trying to solve it and that is what I can do. But I've got another suggestion to you. If your biggest fear is that an asset doesn't work for a day you should work with local copies. They'll be untouched from updates.

After removing all the parking lots, unsubbing from the assets (I just unsubbed all BPL to make sure) and restarting I am back to a running city. Hope the feedback helps.

Yeah I have, I had several big lots placed around my city, loaded in this morning an my fps took a dive. Only seem to have to problem with the grass ones

Hi there - myself and some friends have done some testing this morning and your "fix" to this asset has tanked FPS if you had any grass versions placed before your update. Only solution was to hunt around the city to find every single one and remove them totally and reboot/reload

@coolou7 I'm sorry but beside the one way roads (which will come next week) I really don't get your points. What intersections are you not able to build? What particular road layout do you want to build that you're not able to do with these roads? In my opinion the degree of freedom with these assets is very very high.

Constructive criticism to follow...........I appreciate the work that went into this. But this really needs a way to make intersections better. I really can't be creative like I want with this asset. The drive road MUST lead into the border which MUST lead into the fillers. There is no workaround that. Some one way roads would be nice as well.

@MOREOPTIONS, the only time I've come across the 'blue areas" issue is when I have more than one cells width between the 'filler roads'. If there is one cell of zoning between fillers it works as intended just like in hockenheim95's tutorial. But where I might have more than one cells width usually happens for me at the end of my parking lot where I'm deciding on how long I need it to be, where it will finish and thus I mightn't have closed off the border road or added another filler. But, ensure that one cell distance between another filler or the border and it's all good. Hope that helps.

@hockenheim95, Hello, I've came across a small problem when I try making the lot's I find big blue areas that I am unable to resolve. I watched Biffa Plays Indie Games Tutorial.. BUT!!! Somewhere along the line something is missing, No mater when I try doing! Is there other Youtube video's with better details? AND, is there any asset or mod's Needed that I might not have? I did hind one part that said I need the Building Anarchy, I did grab that and still after using it and other mods I have, I can't PLOP Parking spaces the way I see in the video, It's always saying space occupied! Or if i leave more space, can plow, BUT!!! I have a Blue holes that i can't patch!!!
