I tought I had to use the turret to brake the glass, but I couldn't pick it up. I tried to use portals and make it shoot at me and then use the portals to hit the glass.....pretty frustrating since it kills u really fast. I gave up and watched a walktrough, as soon as I saw that he didn't use the turret I closed (he knocked it over..) I closed the vid. I then realized I had to use the cube to crush the window and the solution unfolded.

Stupid me didn't realize that the laser could come and go through the same portal (I just saw RectorRocks' video with the solution )... so I cheated by managing to position the cube so that it was barely touching the door's button and also barely making the laser hit, from the switch's side (see 4:50-4:55 from RectorRock's video... I managed to make it hit that way.)

Please remind us all that you don't have to portal bump in order to solve this test (that's how I initially solved it :P).

I personally hate test chambers that require the use of glitches or bugs, but this was a unique experience, and certainly a fresh challenge for a veteran player! ^_^

Managed to break the glass, get cube onto button with laser shining down onto it then took ages to realise I could move where the laser was coming from. On "reflection" I should have twigged quicker. Good fun,Thank you.

It's a realy good test chamber. Realy dificult :D I needed 10 minutes or so to solve this room.

Portal-bump. This happens when two white surfaces are beside each other but are separated by something (example: glass, fizzler). You can fix it by placing func_portal_bumper or func_noportal_volume. Or just change the wall to a black surface.

@RectorRocks ... thanx for video, by the way in time 2:23 there is a bug, I do not know why this may make the portal open. The correct solution is a little different. ;)
