Thanks for the reply. Ive been spawning them and blrue printing them. This would have been a very fun encounter mod to deal with.

In long:

Due to a SSD failure which made me lose all of my game files and mod files within weeks if not days of releasing this, resulting diminishing interest in SE and eventually getting a new PC, I have lost every single blueprint for the existing ships and a catalogue of about 30-40 complete ships I intended to add in, alongside everything else I ever made in this game (I made all the ships first - it was the thing I was more passionate about, over the RivalAI programming.) Yes, I kept a backup, but it was foolishly also on this SSD - I expected the game files to bug out and break, not everything.

You can lift what you wish and retrofit or use it to any desire without crediting me or anything silly, I really don't mind about a few half-functional blueprints. Just spawn them in and disable them in any way you wish, or use the mod files.

Hey, any chance you could remove RivalAI as a required dependency? It conflicts with MES due to the redundancy.

It has been started for a full overhaul along with other things. I was a little held up since Feb due to world events but will be back working on it soon

I have not heard anything further than giving permission for the rework, so it could be in the works, or abandoned on day one for all I know.

Considering a return to SE, however I will not be continuing this or Dauntless PvE Encounters unless I get a massive amount of spare time any time soon. Just putting this information out here for if it is in the works, because I potentially have designs that can be used in it, and will continue to make designs that are in line with the established faction theme if I pick SE up again.

Sorry for the massive disappointment of this mod, I learnt the hard way I just did not have the time nor skill to deliver the promised content, and figured prolonging a disappointment was not the way to go.

this seems like it's going to make heavy attack craft and light recon and attack craft really standout in combat as before a like drone could take out a SPAT ore handling base with only twin mounted gats and gat turrets

No problem, just got tired of playing the game and can't be bothered to rewrite it all to the new systems, the mod probably doesn't even work anymore. I should probably put outdated or abandoned in its title to be more clear about it, maybe change the description.

If You made again planetary drones so please dont do that shit like other modders. Just make some more drones to attack player base but not f....n invasion 2 min after start a fresch game.

There is supposed to be, but the new Warfare update completely broke my version of SE, and everything I have tried has not fixed it, so I can't do much with this other than hope a bugfix resolves the error, or perhaps the 2nd warfare update.

Also nothing else spawned in the wolrd besides scout and tons over tons of Javelin jumping into my ships. No, it's not a misspell, some of them jumped into the upper bridge of my ship.

Oh, no worries. So it's more of a search and destroy thing once you get over that 20k PCU, they're not very likely to come to you if you have a station for instance? I was testing with a Station and a few ships all parked in one spot and never had a Grey ship come to me, but I didn't try seeking them out.

Things currently do spawn, they are just suited to heavy warships and more "the player attacks them" style encounters (Majority being high PCU, 20,000-30,000~ if I recall correctly). The second question is entirely up to you.

Hello, and thanks for the praise/feedback! I am aware of both issues you have mentioned and am going to be addressing them in the next update when it comes out (though I haven't had much time to work on this mod recently it is getting there). The solution for speed has mostly already been solved, and I have 2 possible solutions on the uranium, using MES's proprietary reactor, one that spawns the amount of uranium it needs in until the grid is no longer a valid spawn (I believe), or just to overhaul the ships to feature less/zero reactors.

Sorry for the really late response, but to explain, the mod isn't really "fleshed out" to say currently, although content updates are in the works for both the shipset and AI. Space currently has a lack of ships which I am hoping to address shortly, though planetary will also be getting more content along with this. I have received some feedback that ships aren't spawning in atmosphere but I've been unable to replicate the issue on both the public and test builds of the mod (I will keep trying however).

In response to your question about PCU, eventually the system will be moved to MES's threat score system to make the spawning system fairer, however in addition to this I hope to make a wiki (undecided what platform I wish to use yet) with information, lore and spawning conditions of every encounter on it, which I hope will answer this question in the future.

Hello, good mod and thank you for creating it but two things, drones have tendency to just crash very fast on ground (earth, no thruster/avionic, speed etc mod), second is they giving a tons of uranium almost for free.

Can you say what PCU spawns what level threat? I've got maybe 20,000 blocks in space and nothings spawning. Survival, cargo ships, drones, random encounters all activated, 50km antennas running, and Modular Encounters and Rival AI loaded, nothing else. I see the Grey Order faction in the faction list... did I do something wrong or do you need tons and tons of ships in orbit before they pay attention?

I'll have a look into the issue. The mod will never work with Aerodynamic Physics, however if the problem has persisted I will check it out. It's probably due to the atmosphere in that level, or empty reactors or something. Thanks for bringing it to my attention, I'll fix it as soon as I find out what the issue is.

Aerodynamic Physics (Deadly Reentry + Drag + Flight) and Industrial Overhaul (add/change vanilla weapons among other things ). I disable the first one after a couple hours of starting the game.
