1 thing about the M1 Bayonet that kind of bothers me is that the M1 Bayonets was used in the European theater and it was good against the German Bayonets. However, in the pacific, the Japanese used longer Type 30 Bayonet which caused many American soldiers to use older M1905 Bayonets against the Japanese. And also, when i said "kind of bothers me", there's actually a photo from the Battle Of Kwajalein (Part of the Gilbert and Marshall Islands campaign) of a M1 Bayonet on the M1 Garand rifle which would be kind of unlikely to use against Japanese soldiers that use longer bayonets which resulted as i aforementioned.

It could be misinformation or M1 Bayonets was just used in limited numbers in the Pacific or something else

To avoid having animations cancel, the only thing you can do is wait a bit for them to finish, sorry

The normal mode shoots in bolt action because of what is stated in the description.
As for the cancel, it's due to how the grenade works, the transition itself is extremely iffy because the default animators aren't really meant to have an object in 2 separate layers like this (the grenade itself). If i did it nowadays there's something i would've done that could've maybe made it less breakable, but back then i didn't think about it

The grenade rifle firing modes are pretty bugged. The normal mode shoots like a bolt action and the grenade loading animation cancels itself when you equip it.

So I'm sure I'm not the only M1 owner in this comments section. I feel the M1903s are way more accurate both in game and model wise compared to the M1 in the pack. My biggest complaints are 1: front sight post suffers from what the M1903 does in real life and that is the post is too skinny. The 03 is almost always a one shot kill. I believe the M1 should have the same damage but maybe a little less accuracy than the 03. Make the sight profile similar to that of the 03A3 with the aperture size and front sight width. The finish would also be parkerized which you guys absolutely nailed on the 03A3. The recoil on a real M1 has more muzzle climb. Absolutely love the new Thompson btw love y'alls' work!!!

I'm pretty sure the one in the pack is more accurate if you're wondering, but stats on standalone mods of the collection i generally don't update because we end up remaking them over time anyways

Can we at least have the M1E7 hit things consistantly? Or if you insist on keeping it like that for historical rather then gameplay purposes, can we have an M1E8, a scoped M1 that you can actually use for scoped shooting or something? Pretty lousy how we have only one scoped M1 for ravenfield, but on top of that, you can't hit the broadside of a barn if you were standing inside with it. And not to mention, the fact that it's a two shot kill without any knockback like the default rifle, and has no weighty sound to it, make this a huge thumbs down.

Am I the only one that noticed this M1 has a bad accuracy? I mean, the bullet can't go for one point but randomly hit an area. The scoped one has the biggest problem, it hardly even hit the targets :steamsad:

The grenade launcher on the M1 garand has a tab which disables the gas tube, making the gun have to be manually cocked. This is because grenade firing rounds create much much more pressure than normal bullets and thus would damage the system
