I wont be updating this mod any longer, i wont be deleting it either. So it's going in the Vault as a little memento for my first ever Mod Jam.

Apologies for those who were still using this mod, life happens and im trying to reduce my modding commitments.

yeah that would be good ikit who can use magic is able to and throt cant uses magic so makes more sense for him to focus on summons

hmm i can add them to Throt, probably wont add them to packmasters as they already get a whole bunch of summons.

Mod update!

Bomb Rats have had a overhaul unit wise they are much weaker, smaller numbers and have had their speed matched ChaosRobies Giant Rats.

The Bomb:

Okay thanks to ChaosRobie the rats now have explosive on death animations, this on death explosion is scaled by MA and WS so the rats have a hidden passive that amps those stats when in melee.

Ka-booom! still booms just as boomy as before but now instead of being instantly detonated on contact, the fuse will only be lit once the unit is under 25% health.

Visual Changes:

New Unit Card because the old one was seriously washed out, still not 100% happy with this one but whatever.

Theoretically this should be sfo compatible since they just run in and explode without actually fighting. They may do a bit less damage and be a bit squishier than they should be with SFO active but considering they're free summons that's not really a bad thing

@brynjar, thanks for the spot i forgot to tick requires effect enabling, so should be fixed now. About the unlock level i reduced it down 12 as it's still a rather strong ability.

AWESOME MOD! Generic warlords start with the skill unlocked though. And unlocking it at lvl 18 seems abit late? Most warlords usually dont make it that long. This is a good early game helper for the non wizard focused armys so maby around lvl 5-6

Okay added new rank depth and spacing, bombs are pretty strong now, the may need tuning :P.

I'll create a custom unit spacing to address the bomb in the back issue, as a quick fix. Bombs sploding separately is still on the list of things to try dont worry.

Love the concept and model, but the explosion happens at the back of the rat unit and dosen't really kill that many of the enemy unit

Yeah, if you could, making the rats explode separately into smaller explosions would be huge!
Right now they are kinda janky. Since the explosion happens way in the back of the unit and dose not affect many units.
Keep up the great work! Can't wait for the rest of the rat variations!

Not gonna lie, I am LOVING the sudden hand-crafted rat models. The biggest reason as far as I can tell for the lack of skaven units was the small supply of models and textures. These kinds of mods rock not only because they IGNORE that hurdle, but because they provide the framework for more mods, later.

Basically, what I'm saying, I Ily irl. Thanks so much for this!

Well i'm glad people like this mod, i did most of the leg work in the last 24 hours because i'm a goof like that. Props to the modding jam for bringing me out my modding shell. :)

@Mister Skeleton, I do have plans to make a Rat Pack - Giants Rats, Giant Pox Rats, Brood Horrors and so on, once i've finished up with my current projects.

@IRAN, Giant Rats are pretty large :P, but the explode separately thing i can look into, i also had plans for Poison Wind variant and possibly a Warpstone Shard variant that was available via a follower. We will see

Also dont mind the unit card, i know it's a little washed out, i will be updating that as soon as i can.
