This works great with a big giant dice tower, and increase the bounciness of the tower to 1.

Wicked!
Looking forward to more additions.
In the meantime, I might try to bake my head with the scripts.
Cheers. ;)

Any chance that there will be more fantasy-ish effects added? for like DnD games or something like that?
Gernot 2 May, 2023 @ 3:57pm
Die Würfel sind der Hammer! Haben die schon öfter für BP Spiele eingesetzt. Vielen Dank für diese coolen Würfel-Sounds ;)
Robinson Drake 19 Dec, 2021 @ 8:20pm
I'm gonna have to check this out :) Thanks Baryonyx
ironfloyd77 13 Oct, 2021 @ 8:04am
Thank you, thank you, thank you. Been searching for this!
Baryonyx  [author] 26 Sep, 2021 @ 6:21am
The scripts you need come with the TTS project that you are supposed to load. Look in the scripts folder.

The rotation values being shown can be done ingame, I think the gizmo tool has a rotation value option to it?
Inspector de Patas 25 Sep, 2021 @ 11:08pm
and how do you make the dice model behave like a dice with rotation values and not just the roll property
Inspector de Patas 25 Sep, 2021 @ 11:04pm
But how do you do the script part? thats the most confusing thing lol. Is there a TTS script for that already in there?
Baryonyx  [author] 25 Sep, 2021 @ 4:52am
1. Get Unity installed following the procedures here: https://kb.tabletopsimulator.com/custom-content/custom-assetbundle/
2. Import a dice model
3. Add sounds as desired in the TTS specific scripts.
Inspector de Patas 25 Sep, 2021 @ 1:16am
Can we get a tutorial onto how to make our own with our own sounds?
Baryonyx  [author] 28 Aug, 2021 @ 4:53pm
Huh, okay. The files are big, so if you don't have the fastest internet it could be tough to download.
Nyx (She/Her) 28 Aug, 2021 @ 2:09pm
Apologies, I forgot to come back and delete that reply-
Things just needed to be loaded about 6 times to actually load.
Baryonyx  [author] 28 Aug, 2021 @ 5:37am
Vael, really? Can you tell me what exactly is broken? It would help me a lot if I knew what to look for specifically.
Nyx (She/Her) 27 Aug, 2021 @ 6:47pm
seems these have broken quite a bit lately. missing dice, no representative images, etc
UncleBa 2 May, 2021 @ 12:51pm
Excellent - just what I was looking for. Thanks for creating these and making them available. They really add to the game.
CBFasi 3 Jan, 2021 @ 7:18am
Thanks, now for hope, still usable
Baryonyx  [author] 1 Jan, 2021 @ 5:51am
CBFasi, I have noted it down, but I can't tell when I will work on this mod again.
CBFasi 1 Jan, 2021 @ 2:33am
Fantastic dice, definitely adding extra atmosphere.

Any chance of making the dice colour-able?? (eg so I can set different colour for different sound)
starwantrix 12 Oct, 2020 @ 8:45am
OMG, thank you dude! You're fucking great! I've been searching for this so long!:approved::approved::approved:
Gernot 6 Oct, 2020 @ 5:03pm
Great job! Really funny! Thanks mate.
MurderHobo 29 Sep, 2020 @ 3:19pm
awesome thank you sir :) very cool :)
Baryonyx  [author] 28 Sep, 2020 @ 4:08pm
MurderHobo, that is due to the dice making the sound when they hit a surface, so after the die gets reset from a script (such as with the dice rollers) it makes contact with the ground again. As the distance that it falls is not that high the sound is very low. So if you use the dice manually by having them lie around and you use R to roll them, then they should only make one sound.
MurderHobo 28 Sep, 2020 @ 2:22pm
very cool mod. question though.. why does is sound like there is an echo on certain sounds? like the bow? sounds like 2 arrows are flying by on a single shot? not a critique... just a question :)
Sapperzz 1 Sep, 2020 @ 8:14am
This is fucking dope
Baryonyx  [author] 12 Jul, 2020 @ 6:39am
Mister Maf, I agree with you. The black powder sounds lack oomph, and also the echo. I usually find the sound somewhere and edit them a bit sometimes, like mixing several sounds together. For example I did this with the aerial bombs and the artillery. But I do try to use realistic sounds where applicable (for laser guns obviously not). Finding realistic cannon or blackpowder weapon recordings that do not have cheering or other sounds in them seems quite hard. If you know any sources, let me know.
Mister Maf 11 Jul, 2020 @ 8:55pm
Love the clankiness of the new Gatling gun sounds. If I can offer a critique (I don't know if you are mixing these sounds yourself or just finding them somewhere), the black powder cannon is somewhat lacking in the booming echo that makes the Sherman and King Tiger sfx feel so meaty and satisfying. (It's also currently missing its d20 :profgenki:).

Thanks for your continued hard work.
Furt 10 Jul, 2020 @ 4:04pm
Great stuff Baryonyx! Thanks for all your hard work on this.
Furt 2 Jul, 2020 @ 9:04pm
Yeah - I was thinking along those lines.
Baryonyx  [author] 2 Jul, 2020 @ 6:26pm
I don't know, I think one dice should be one attack. Even if there are games where one dice controls the fighting outcome of more than one man.
And how would cavalry work anyways? A melee attack together with a hoof sound, horse wheeze, and a neigh?
Furt 2 Jul, 2020 @ 3:38pm
Brilliant additions! May I suggest massed cavalry, infantry and missile fire sounds for ancient armies?
BreadMakingCheesecake 30 Jun, 2020 @ 12:53pm
Just got TTS to improve my online TTRPGS that i play, And this was exactly something i was looking for! Would be neat to see some sort of shotgun noise
Baryonyx  [author] 27 Jun, 2020 @ 4:00pm
Mister Maf, thanks for letting me know. I have fixed that now. Maybe I will add blackpowder weapons in the next update.
Mister Maf 27 Jun, 2020 @ 1:51pm
Love the continued updates. Got a lot of fun using the Sherman cannon for a game of Fighting Sail just now. It looks like the d20 for the new hand grenade is missing though btw.
Baryonyx  [author] 27 Jun, 2020 @ 7:53am
New update is out. Thanks for the prizes!
Baryonyx  [author] 24 Jun, 2020 @ 10:36am
Kittycat, thanks. I don't know if this might be possible via a script, but I don't know Lua. Find someone who does, I'd be willing to offer adjustabilty if I get provided such a script. Otherwise, I'd have to manually set the volume, but making many different volume levels is just not economical. The volume does scale a little bit with distance to the dice though. Apart from that, lowering the game volume in the Windows loudspeaker settings is the only other alternative, sorry.
Kittycat 23 Jun, 2020 @ 7:34pm
These are super fun! Question: how would one go about adjusting the volume on these? At the moment some of them are very loud. It would be nice if we could have some ability to scale the base sound level.
TechieDragon 23 Jun, 2020 @ 6:54pm
Greatly appreciated
Baryonyx  [author] 23 Jun, 2020 @ 8:59am
gamekidpro, Laser sounds have been added to the list for the next update.

Quickle, thank you. Good idea with the hand grenades. It will be in the next update.
Quickle 22 Jun, 2020 @ 7:43pm
This is seriously the coolest mod I've seen!! This made playing Heroes of Normandie 5x more fun :D

*if I may make a request - I would LOVE to see a hand grenade sound :)*
TechieDragon 15 Jun, 2020 @ 5:42pm
Hey Bary,
really like your mod! Perhaps if you could do something similar with starwars gun effects or something similarly sci-fi? Would make playing Warhammer 40k on Tabletop Sim pretty fun. Keep up the good work!
Baryonyx  [author] 15 Jun, 2020 @ 2:24pm
Furt, I have already added an extension. xD
Furt 15 Jun, 2020 @ 1:34pm
Great additions all around and thanks so much for fulfilling my tank movement dice request. You are going to need a bigger display table soon Baryonyx for this mod!
ProgramDown 12 Jun, 2020 @ 2:40pm
RIP my ears but this is the best slightly pointless addition I've ever had to TTS, 10/10
A Box of Rocks 12 Jun, 2020 @ 2:32pm
All of those? Wow.
Cristal 12 Jun, 2020 @ 2:28pm
Awesome
Thank you very much :D
Baryonyx  [author] 12 Jun, 2020 @ 12:33pm
Cristal, you have to first download unity editor and the correct unity version (at the time of this writing 2019.1.14f1), then download the TTS modding project. You will have to find your own dice models (I think the ones from the game can't be used) and some sounds. Then you apply the TTS sound script to the dice, add your sounds into it, make sure to give the dice a collider and then you build the asset bundles.
Cristal 12 Jun, 2020 @ 12:11pm
Hey i really like your mod and the idea of adding sounds to the dice and i would like to add some
sounds myself from Star Wars to another Mod

Could you give a brief tutorial on how you added those sounds to the already made dice? I would be very thankful
Baryonyx  [author] 12 Jun, 2020 @ 10:14am
Let's see here. I don't remember everything, but I think the following of my mods were:

Planet Liutania, British Military Equipment, BRM Desert Race, Animated German Infantry, Animated American Infantry, Normandy Farmland, WW2 German vehicles, Animated British Infantry, Modern Hovels, Soviet Military Equipment, Starcraft Models, Bary's Terrain Tiles, Strategy Map Pieces, High Quality Trees, American Infantry for Wargaming, Jesus & RNGesus, Wheat, Grass and Flower Fields, German Army Infantry for Wargaming, Rocky Coast, Modular Trench System, Large City Map.

Maybe I missed a few, or added some, but I do think they were on the front page. The thing is that it is actually not that hard to get onto the front page I noticed. The key to that is getting lots of subs in a short amount of time, compared to the average - I think. Because I've seen mods on the front page with just 80 subs, and some had over a thouseand.
