i was wondering would you by any chance at all have any different/upgraded versions of this miner that you havent uploaded to the workshop that are for atmo?

awesome build! though had too dis-assemble drill 6 and replace the conveyors leading to the drill below. easy fix though

Just a heads up, i ran into an issue that wouldn’t let me put in the cockpit or the bottom connector. I thought it was a bug, but after an hour of trying to figure it out, i found out that the two gyro’s right behind the cockpit wouldn’t let me place it. Just for future people if they run into this.

Any idea when you might add the Mk2 to the workshop?

i really like this miner you did a really good job i added a large hydro thrusters and tanks and took it to space from the alien planet it was fun a very good starting platform for modded items also its definitely one of the best ive seen nicely balanced also

@Mighty_Assa i have one already that is Ion only, i'm not sure if I could make one that is the same size that uses Ion as well as Atmospheric Thrusters, I dare say if I did it would be a lot larger :).

Thanks mate, I really appreciate it :). Glad this blueprint and the videos help out :). Yeah I have to admit, now that there has been changed to hydrogen and the capacities have increased alot I think I might give it a go. Maybe I can make another video of building it haha :).

Thank you so much for publishing this blueprint! I also see you made somewhat modular variants (ion powered for space, as well as an atmo welder/grinder). Have you thought about trying to make a hydrogen powered version for ground-based space mining? I'm still pretty new to the game (thank you for all your helpful YouTube content, by the way) and don't have any sort of space platform or base setup yet.

It will carry a full load of ore :). But its designed to remain pretty level, if you try and have it pointing downwards/upwards or tilted too much while its full of ore it wont be able to hold itself in the air. Unfortunately you need to sacrifice thrusters in those areas for thrusters that point down to lift the weight. I may do a video on this ship to help people out a bit :)

The only reason i stated it is i was mining and it flipped over onto it's ass, and i could have used downward thrust to move it. I think it got to heavy. I don't have any luck with mining ships. :(

You're correct, it doesn't, but you don't need them in Atmo unless you are running auto pilot or some sort of auto mining script :). I may design a version with a downward thruster but I would probably have to sacrifice 2 ejectors to do it because of the weight :).

This is a great ship, but i realized when i tested it out it doesn't have any thrusters for downward movement. At least that i can see.
