ah, the perfect civic to indiscriminately bombard the planets of one-system empires with fanatic spiritualist and authoritrian ethics

Does this the feature to Fragment a empire still work with the mod still being for version 2.7?
Vay Mnemon 27 Feb, 2022 @ 6:13am
This needs to be incorporated into the larger packs. The idea of just keeping a galaxy going forever, post end crisis, stepping in only to break up god empires would be so satisfying. Or someone make a similar one.
barkertommy43 11 Dec, 2021 @ 3:40pm
Does anyone have suggestions for a similar mod?
barkertommy43 5 Dec, 2021 @ 1:10pm
Please Update, I love breaking up the huge empires!
Nayrael 4 Dec, 2020 @ 11:20am
Will this mod work fine with 2.8?
zanaikin 25 Sep, 2020 @ 11:00am
Should be normal Egalitarian + Oligarchy to be properly Space 'Murica.
also, there should be a MegaCorp version =P
Scyobi_Empire 8 Aug, 2020 @ 1:15am
@Rainbowwchicken3 I agree with that.
Soppo Doggo 5 Jul, 2020 @ 6:11pm
*Distant bold eagle screeching*
Finally, time to role play as space 'Murica!
Dr Jimothy 5 Jul, 2020 @ 10:59am
I've always wanted to play a game where there are just countless empires all ripping each other to shreds. This will allow me to take a single empire, have it seize control of everything but the capital system of a fallen empire, switch control to the fallen empire and then use this wargoal to turn the galaxy into a burning car wreck. Thank you.
Rainbow 16 Jun, 2020 @ 8:04am
Could this be changed so that you don't need Fanatic eagletarian and Fanatic xenophile to be your ethics? I get eagletarian, but you don't necessarily need to be xenophile to enforce law and order. You might as well be militarist, for example. I don't really want to be forced to be federation builders while also being a cop empire.
:D_TOASTY_D: 16 Jun, 2020 @ 4:45am
@DeusVult forgot to mention that to see the ID you have to type Debugtooltip first en then again to turn it off
:D_TOASTY_D: 16 Jun, 2020 @ 4:44am
@DeusVult the only way i have seen to rename the empires is to type in the Console using ` under Esc. hover over the empire you want to change the name of, you wil see a ID number
Type in the console play (The ID number of the empire) and then change the name there in the government screen.

You can switch back to your empire typing: play 0

@mrafriends It really isn't. It's a massive nation with complete legal equality regardless of ethnicity and culture, massive global commitments, and a decent amount of immigration. If that's what you call xenophobic, xenophilia doesn't exist.
Crazy Old Texan 15 Jun, 2020 @ 12:25pm
Funny mrafriends America has more diversity than any other country...Easily.
HalfnHalf Overlord 15 Jun, 2020 @ 11:15am
America is definitely xenophobic. Easily.
Mordachai 14 Jun, 2020 @ 10:14am
This totally not related to anything in reality mod is sublime & wonderful political commentary (of a totally imaginary kind)

Upvotes for this!

DO we have the option to name the mew empires that come from splitting ?

FBI may be a little .......angry
Dazz Aephiex  [author] 13 Jun, 2020 @ 4:47pm
UPDATE: since this war goal is really so funny to play with, another war goal of exactly same effects is now open to all empires that have finished the Supremacy tradition tree and unlocked at least 3 Ascension Perks. Galactic Police can't use it, though.
Autumn 13 Jun, 2020 @ 4:18pm
Do you mind if I make a submod that lowers the requirements for the civic? The idea behind this mod is really cool, but it's way too focused on forcing the player to play as a very specific idea of the United States.
Dazz Aephiex  [author] 13 Jun, 2020 @ 10:38am
@Jenana
While balance issue is also considered, they hate you because you are a true space demon. The shards were made to hate each other so they can't become united without guns and must experience a long term chaos and local hostility. Also, Stellaris encourages specialized planets so shard empires will nearly always have broken and imbalanced economy. They can no longer grow into a threat with considerable industrial and / or technological power and they are almost fated to extinct or be annexed by powerful neighbours. Even those learned the concept of Egalitarian from you knows that you are a true space demon.
Bottom of the Well 13 Jun, 2020 @ 9:31am
Any chance you can edit that some so if the new system created is formed with a planet in rebel that they dont get the negative modifier? Would really screw with balancing and lead to my previous comment of being too easier but would more align it with real world stuffs.
Dazz Aephiex  [author] 13 Jun, 2020 @ 6:27am
@TMA-1701 Because you are the criminal to have separated their once united empire.
Bottom of the Well 12 Jun, 2020 @ 11:56pm
@TMA think that was done for balance reasons. Other wise you can create a galaxy of friends within years peace really fast by offering them protector status once you make them into your type of government. So far using this mod ive pretty much united the galaxy in peace by using this civic and envoy+ trade to boost them to wanting me to protect them. Stops them all from fighting and they focus on inward growth and become really strong partners pretty fast.
TMA-1701 12 Jun, 2020 @ 2:24pm
I am reserved about the xenophilism req...
Also why would the shards hate the cop?

Is this mod compatible with Ethics and Civis alternative ?
Nikolajgs 12 Jun, 2020 @ 4:24am
damn. it's egalitarian. i was hoping i could use this with authoritarian and play as the Turian Hierarchy

@Kim Starluck then you are missing the point XD
Cheesemongle 11 Jun, 2020 @ 6:01pm
time to play as the IDPD
Jim Starluck 10 Jun, 2020 @ 4:16pm
I can't help but feel like the egalitarian requirement for this civic is the exact inverse of what it should be.
Autumn 9 Jun, 2020 @ 9:55pm
@Dazz Aephiex Fair enough. I was just hoping to use it with a wider variety of empires than it currently allows. It's still a really cool mod, and I'll definitely play a few games as Galactic Police.
Dazz Aephiex  [author] 9 Jun, 2020 @ 9:49pm
Because this mod isn't designed to match the flavor and immersion. An empire that call themselves "Beacon of Liberty", "Egalitarian" and "Xenophile", in the name of order and peace, separates other empires and bring chaos and local hostility. How can an empire be so hypocritical like that? Also, Gestalt Consciousness empires can't be separated by political means, but they can still be separated by this mod.

The real-world Pacific Ocean Police may be not having that much opinion penalties with Authoritarians, Xenophobes, and real-world Shared Burden empires, but they do in some degree, and the Galactic Police is an extremized variant that I think -500 is a fair amount to make it as extreme as it sounds.

If it's implemented in a way that matches all the flavor and immersion and allow the empires you are talking about to use it, the war goal should be unlocked by a tech or tradition that's available to all and it should be called something else like "National Fragmentation".
Autumn 9 Jun, 2020 @ 9:04pm
Any chance the requirements could be loosened a bit? Between removing access to Shared Burdens, only being allowed for a very specific segment of empire, and requiring Beacon of Liberty, there's almost no variety in what Galactic Police empires can actually be made. It would be fun to make dictatorial Galactic Police that break apart their enemies, Shared Burden ones hoping to balkanize capitalist territories in order to establish communes, xenophobic ones acting to keep their neighbors from becoming a threat, and so on.
I also really don't see why Galactic Police get an opinion modifier with authoritarians and xenophobes. The civic's clearly based on America, and America works with plenty of xenophobes and authoritarians.
