I like your roads, it doesn't need lots of dependencies and file size are small.

I can't see the roads in the Roads menu any idea why?
codewitch 7 Mar, 2021 @ 4:46pm
@Delta 5-1, do you have any roads with support for a center turning lane?
Delta 5-1  [author] 18 Feb, 2021 @ 12:06pm
Hi Sir SheikhsPears, no, they are not rendered.
Sir Sheikhs Pears 18 Feb, 2021 @ 6:45am
I'm looking for NExt2 replacement. Therefore, I have the question: Are tunnels rendered on these roads?
sternenstaub70 17 Feb, 2021 @ 8:17am
I love your roads, they are almost a complete replacement for the roads of the network extension roads, which has now been marked as unstable.
The only road I miss (or did not find) in this collection is the 8 lane (4+4) road.

@me22ca thanks! I'll try : )
me22ca 14 Nov, 2020 @ 12:44am
@Finesse AFAIK there's no nice way to do it between different roads like there is for the same road.

You might try a mod that can hide the zebra crossing, like https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1934023593

NICE and INCREDIBLE work! It's of great help to me, but is there any chance you can do smooth connection between 2+4 and 3+3 roads or other roads in same width?

I mean, by now if I connect the two roads mentioned above, a zebra crossing will appear in the middle. Unlike when two reversed 2+4 road connecting, there will be a transition in the middle. I don't know if it will be difficult to achieve but I really hope that 2+4 roads and 3+3 roads will transition smoothly when connected.

Thanks in advance :) And thank you for your work!

Love these collections, thank you Delta 5-1!

@Greyflame that parkway looks soooo good and I cannot wait for you to release it :)
Greyflame 1 Jul, 2020 @ 10:20pm
@Delta 5-1 You helped inspire me to try some networking of my own. It's been a steep learning curve but it's very satisfying as it comes together.

I've been drafting up some parkways to start: https://imgur.com/a/ny6v2px

Just wanted to say thanks for your work again!

Thanks for the link! I've been using those in the meantime, but can't seem to find any monorail roads without parking, or with a median for the monorail pillars in the centre. Some other assets are buggy (not Sir Bounce-a-lot's) when you try to place a bus route, and the road goes bright blue and doesn't show properly.

Definitely better than nothing though! Thank you for your help :)

Hi Scheherazade, I'm glad you like them :)

I might make some monorail roads in distant future. In the meantime, you may want to check out this collection: https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1581953184 - I haven't used it myself, but it seems to have plenty to choose from.

Thank you, thank you, THANK YOU! Like other commenters, I have also been looking for roads like these for years and can't believe they're not part of the vanilla game. I've tried making roads myself many times, but have always struggled to succeed.

These are beautiful and absolutely perfect. I'm normally shy to comment, but you've brought a lot of happiness, thank you :) :)

Just seen you have a few other collections, and can't tell you how exciting this is haha! Do you have any plans to do roads with monorail?

Further to our talk about 5/4 lane roads, what I'd really like are all the 2 tile roads to come in a 4 tile configuration. I.e. they look and act just like regular 2 tile wide roads, except they are zoned as if 4 tiles wide. Where i live, all houses must be constructed so that e.g. no part of the house is withing 6 m of the pavement. This not only ensures houses are well set back, but also means if a decision is made to widen the road later, they don't have to demolish the house, only destroy the front lawn. And this would IMO be very useful in C:S too - when you upgraded your 2 lane oad to a (wide) 4 lane road, you wouldn't have to demolish anything. Of course, I should learn to do this myself, but I do not find the asset editor at all intuitive...
Delta 5-1  [author] 27 Jun, 2020 @ 2:54am
Hi Greyflame, you're not the first person to ask me this :)

Yes, I only recently realised that buildings/zoning would actually snap to 24m roads (for some reason I thought it has to be a multiple of 16), so would definitely like to update the 4-and 5-lane roads to that width. I don't know when I'll get round to doing this though (quite a few roads to go through...).

If you are interested in making these yourself, I'd be quite happy to help and include them in the collection. :)

Greyflame 26 Jun, 2020 @ 5:00pm
Alright I apologize for bombarding your inbox at this point, but out of curiosity, are 3 tile / 24 meter roads on the table and on your radar? I feel like some 4 and 5 lane configurations would work very well in 24 meters if that's possible. if you're interested I might be down to commission a couple to help grow the set ... if not, that's totally fine, you've contributed SO MUCH already, and maybe I could learn some networking and take a stab.

I've been looking for a set of roads like these for years. These are right on the money - the sort of streets that should have been part of the vanilla game from the start! Thank you for these so much.

I have waited for someone to do Vanilla like asset for a long time, Really like it, thank you so much for your hard work.
