I think a shorter barrel means louder cause assault rifles with shorter barrel are louder.

@Stefan The raw audio for the makarov is probably bassier or chunkier, or vice versa, either way its just a design choice by battlestate :/

I personally have spent a good 4 or 5 hours trying to fiddle with the handling to get it louder consistently without clipping to no avail, ive given up several times but i might as well go ahead again today so i guess just sit tight while i fuck around with the files

I plan on updating this in the near future, and these are the raw audio audio files, the only thing i would do to modify these would be to increase the volume of the handling, which i have stated in the description. You can go ahead and modify this yourself to fit your desires but i have no intention of modifying the audio myself because then they wouldn't be Escape From Tarkov sounds.

Also is this in WIP?

Gah, I think the sounds dont have enough kick, can I boost them with an equalizer or something?

You don't have to directly copy his mods but you can use them for inspiration

If you're looking for good ways to improve this mod you should look at how lzzi Leaf did there mods and maybe make yours based upon there's https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/workshop/filedetails/?id=1704908888 also 1v4n94 posted some weapons that would fit the sound of weapons in insurgency on page 2 of the collection if you haven't used them already but the good is mod and I'll be looking forward to its improvements
