Is it possible to enable the No-AI peace deal if I install the mod mid-game?
Siegma333 2 Jun, 2023 @ 9:19am
add an option to disable this for the AI
大黄太阳枪 23 Jun, 2022 @ 8:35pm

Mothey 2 Jun, 2022 @ 3:40pm

DuxBarbatus 3 May, 2022 @ 1:48pm
Is this mod still valid?
Dark Hunter 26 Nov, 2021 @ 7:46am
can you update this mod for the new dlc?
Doomsman_MUA 13 Nov, 2021 @ 1:24am
is there a way to disable it so that AI does not use it, but so that only players can use it
Deuce 3 Jul, 2021 @ 4:01pm
Does it still work?
Gamefronter 5 Feb, 2021 @ 1:25am
Please update the mod ;)
Khris 28 Nov, 2020 @ 9:59am
When will you update?
Nart Ko 27 Nov, 2020 @ 9:15am
i played as the us and france declared war on me because i abandonned the naval treaties:steamsad:
Jeph 26 Nov, 2020 @ 11:21pm
hey, just as a nice addition, could you make it so that capitulated countries always have 100 for white peacing?
Jeph 16 Oct, 2020 @ 12:54am
This mod needs to update as of the new update, it would also be great if you added different types of peaces, like unconditional surrender.
WIndrunner 2 Oct, 2020 @ 7:25pm
Loving the mod, even in MP. If there was one thing I'd suggest adding to it would be checking the status of puppets when fighting a major power.

I can see this being done two ways:

1) If signing a separate peace with a major power, check and annex territories belonging to puppets of that power.

2) (perhaps less complicated?) allow the signing of a separate peace with a capitulated faction.

#2 would require the user to remember to check capitulations, but might be overall a better choice?
Lieutenant Gregory Stevens 21 Sep, 2020 @ 4:17pm
Does the menu option for offering peace only come up after a certain point? Because I'm not seeing it even when looking over countries that are at war.
donald.grape 2 Sep, 2020 @ 5:21am
Oh, and Japan white peaces specific Chinese warlords all the time just to declare war on them again a week later.
donald.grape 2 Sep, 2020 @ 5:20am
Could you remove the Italian-Ethiopian war from your mod? In all cases Italy signs a white peace and because of that, half of its tree is blocked.
Supernova138 17 Aug, 2020 @ 5:38pm
for whatever reason, every time I've used this mod, Italy ends up white-peacing with Ethiopia...
Zhidkost 15 Aug, 2020 @ 6:32pm
Does this work in multiplayer?
Heinrich_Woldag 7 Aug, 2020 @ 9:12am
@tOmzone
Thanks for the great mod.
However, I'm having trouble with the AI being very persistent and demanding that I respond to the peace process.

Can't you reduce the frequency with which the AI asks for it?
Red Moff 20 Jul, 2020 @ 3:37am
@Baka Racer - correct.
Baka Racker 18 Jul, 2020 @ 9:31am
Just to confirm, the "No AI Separate Peace" rule is a game start only one, correct? Getting tired of my puppets peacing out during a titanic war with half the world.
Duk of Deth 13 Jul, 2020 @ 12:17pm
I did have other mods running, but I had checked and there were no conflicts - nothing your mod was changing was changed by any of the other mods. Maybe add in a timer, so that after an offer is refused, it can't be re-offered until the nation had lost their own territory?! And I don't think subject nations should be allowed to negotiate a separate peace unless they themselves have been invaded, and are prepared to fully submit to the enemy [otherwise their former allies will not be happy].
Duk of Deth 13 Jul, 2020 @ 12:15pm
After France fell, it was the Dominions spamming me with White Peace offers, even before I invaded the UK. It got so annoying I unsubscribed. Was not the intention for two nations who were stalemated, or maybe one who had lost enough, to offer to toss in the towel?! I know I can just decline, but declining two to five offers every minute [France would offer twice, like there were two Frances] got a bit too tedious.
Duk of Deth 13 Jul, 2020 @ 12:12pm
This mod tends to prompt enemies to spam White Peace offers. As Germany, I was getting non-stop offers from France while setting up for a 1940 offensive, after defeating Poland. I hadn't taken any of Frances turf yet and had made certain that there was no way any of the AIs could call in the Italians to Derp it up as usual.

Thank you!
Janissary 11 Jul, 2020 @ 6:56am
Oh man I hope every total conversion mod incorporates this excellent mod

Your amazing author great work
Baka Racker 10 Jul, 2020 @ 7:28pm
Okay, thanks for clarifying the mod. That makes sense, it'd be kinda stupid to agree to a sep peace when that meant full annexation. it also likely doesn't help that I enabled the mod after conquering Lux/Fra in full.
tOmzone  [author] 10 Jul, 2020 @ 5:23am
The mentioned modifier does not take into account the faction strength. Its only a value representing the expectation of a total defeat of that certain nation.

BUT:
If you already conquered all provinces of the enemy nation, then a separate peace is not possible anymore because then it would equal a full annexation.

A separate peace is a contract between 2 nations which voluntarily make peace (with possible territorial gains or losses). An annexation would be a forced peace, which this mod is not intended for.

So if you conquered Luxembourg completely, you should hold your frontlines and wait 60-120 days until the allies start to see the whole war as a stalemate and offer you a separate peace. If you are not in a war with any allied nation anymore, Luxembourg will be automatically annexed by you.
Baka Racker 9 Jul, 2020 @ 8:11pm
Question, does the "Opponent expects defeat" modifier take into account the entire faction strength? I've had Luxembourg totally defeated and occupied for about 4-5 months [as Germany/HRE], but that modifier is still at 0. They are in a faction with the US, and besides sinking 2/3 of the USN I haven't touched them. Also, playing Novum Vexillum, as well as some other QOL mods.
Waffz_The_Pancake 3 Jul, 2020 @ 3:35am
a way to turn off Separate peace for ai's mid-game. The ai uses it so much that the Peace notification is constantly in the way for me.
tOmzone  [author] 3 Jul, 2020 @ 3:33am
I could return the faction leadership to the certain country after it made peace. Hmm, I have to think about it...
tOmzone  [author] 3 Jul, 2020 @ 3:32am
Because otherwise the nation, that offers you peace, would automatically make peace with all your allies aswell.
It's the way how the "white peace" command works in HoI4 scripting.

I wanted to prevent this behavior, so I have to switch the faction leader first, if neccessary.
Grzegorz Brzęczyszczykiewicz 3 Jul, 2020 @ 2:57am
why do you loose faction leadership if you white peace?
pineapple 29 Jun, 2020 @ 3:05am
If so, please solve a problem that my puppet state make a seperate peace regardless of my will. I think it should be changed to that a puppet state can't make a separate peace until its owner makes peace.
tOmzone  [author] 28 Jun, 2020 @ 5:09pm
I have looked into the code again and did some test games. I was not able to reproduce this bug. I need a savegame for further investigation, if you ever encounter this bug again.
tOmzone  [author] 27 Jun, 2020 @ 5:21am
Thats a bug then. They should wait 60 days before they make a white peace. I will look into it...
pineapple 27 Jun, 2020 @ 5:12am
When a war breaks out between countries that do not border the enemy, the war usually ends immediately. And the puppet state ends the war at will.
tOmzone  [author] 26 Jun, 2020 @ 3:13am
A war cannot end immediately. That shouldn't happen. Otherwise its a bug. Did you observe such a behavior?
Normally, the AI waits 60-120 days before it will send/accept a peace offer due to a stalemate situation.
If you found a bug I would be happy if you give me details about your scenario or send me a savegame.
pineapple 26 Jun, 2020 @ 12:44am
The peace proposal should be made possible some time after the war started. Otherwise, the war will end immediately. Also, the puppet country makes a peace treaty at will. This needs to be corrected.
Jared 20 Jun, 2020 @ 10:13am
Or some amount of time
Jared 19 Jun, 2020 @ 10:45pm
Make it so you have to wait 6 months before seperate peacing, as in a lot of occasions the AI wants to peace out if they aren't fighting all the time, ie USA v Japan.
☆Egg.Vonel☆ 19 Jun, 2020 @ 12:01pm
Thanks!
tOmzone  [author] 19 Jun, 2020 @ 6:24am
Done!
☆Egg.Vonel☆ 18 Jun, 2020 @ 5:52pm
Would a custom rule to disable this for the AI be possible?
MDCCC 18 Jun, 2020 @ 5:45pm
This concept is great. Reminds me of another mod that had something like this but it was taken down by the creator. The other mod had the peace deal on the political area and also costed few hundred political power.
