I can see this being done two ways:
1) If signing a separate peace with a major power, check and annex territories belonging to puppets of that power.
2) (perhaps less complicated?) allow the signing of a separate peace with a capitulated faction.
#2 would require the user to remember to check capitulations, but might be overall a better choice?
Thanks for the great mod.
However, I'm having trouble with the AI being very persistent and demanding that I respond to the peace process.
Can't you reduce the frequency with which the AI asks for it?
Your amazing author great work
BUT:
If you already conquered all provinces of the enemy nation, then a separate peace is not possible anymore because then it would equal a full annexation.
A separate peace is a contract between 2 nations which voluntarily make peace (with possible territorial gains or losses). An annexation would be a forced peace, which this mod is not intended for.
So if you conquered Luxembourg completely, you should hold your frontlines and wait 60-120 days until the allies start to see the whole war as a stalemate and offer you a separate peace. If you are not in a war with any allied nation anymore, Luxembourg will be automatically annexed by you.
It's the way how the "white peace" command works in HoI4 scripting.
I wanted to prevent this behavior, so I have to switch the faction leader first, if neccessary.
Normally, the AI waits 60-120 days before it will send/accept a peace offer due to a stalemate situation.
If you found a bug I would be happy if you give me details about your scenario or send me a savegame.
