Hey i'm the original creator of this mod. I can't thank velcroboy enough for updating this mod so others can still enjoy it. I'm sorry for beeing an asshole and abandoning it without a word but life sadly wasn't always easy. I don't know if I will add more pokemon to this mod because I have some other mods that I also want to update and I think the original texture files are lost somewhere on my broken laptop. Again...THANK YOU velcroboy.

All the growable stuff that included in this mod, can it be added as a seperate mod? if you dont want the pokemons but just want the fruit your able to grow.

Yes keep updating your mod- no one else does pokeberries, and you balance your pokemon. The other mod's pokemon needs either proper level and type match to take them down, or rimworld of magic or something.

Personally, I would say yes to maintaining it for future versions. While this mod is not anywhere near as complex as the other one that does exist, this is a far more "vanilla friendly" approach. There's no new mechanics to look at, or complex tasks to complete. None of the Pokemon are particularly OP either, which helps.

Velcroboy updated the mod for my request, but 1.3 messed us all up for a bit. Thought I'd reinstall it, mostly for the berries. Kelpsy is best, in my opinion. If I was a better artist I'd update the mod to have more berries in it.

No. I sometimes help Mlie with updating mods and this was just one of the requests. Pokemon is cool. I've just never had the urge to add it to RW. But I'm happy to make the mod available to others by keeping it up-to date.

I haven't changed anything. I also have never played with this mod. I only updated it. So, Not entirely sure how it should or shouldn't be.

Updated for 1.3. A Dog Said patch has been incorporated into this mod, so you no longer need the add-on.

Attention: I will absolutely be updating all my mods to 1.3. I want to take the time to look at the new code first in order to make sure the code changes are implemented correctly for the new version, as well as make any balance changes, and to implement any relevant new features into my mods,

The upcoming week is going to be busy for me already as the busy season for my real job is just beginning and goes pretty heavy through the fall and holiday season. But I will try to find the time as soon as I am able. My goal is to have all my mods ready for the official release in a couple weeks.

note I will be maintaining support for 1.2 after the update to 1.3 but I a have already moved on from 1.1 or older, so, those versions will not be maintained unless they are naturally compatible.

Just found RangeAnimalFramework which allows for giving animals ranged attacks, could be useful for if you wanted to have pokemon use some of their abilities like squirt or similar attacks

Hey, DisKorrutpd, I just had a thought. Why not make a mod(potentially with this as a dependency) that does what you're asking? That way, those who like the more vanilla aspect can still play with vanilla.

you got water types in here, they should be good at swimming right? would be cool to have all your water pokemon aim to zoom down the river instead of trodding slowly down the coastline

So, I haven't really played pokemon in a long time, and saw Ratatta's Pokedex Entry, I am incredibly disappointed that Ratatta only have a base value of 100% for immunity gain speed, like, those guys should have a high immunity gain speed based on what I'm reading here,

It's possible. I'd have to look into it. It would probably require some significant patching or rewriting. I don't have the most time right now to do that. Since this is a "continued" mod it's not my original work. Anyone is free to make a fork/alternate version. Or if you provide me with updated code I will upload it.

There is no evolution in game, just like in the original 1.0. It would require somehow programming in a way for the animal to completely change its definition and update its stats.

Great mod. A lot of the higher evolutions still get slaughtered by other mod monsters and high power vanilla creatures, which has caused me... great remorse.

I pushed an update to fix that. I also noticed the UI graphics for the individual beds just uses steel. I'll put up another update soon to fix that as well.

I'm getting a bug when it comes to destroying the premier pokebed. Since i can't destroy it i cant get new pets because it registering that as the bed while i have other beds around.
