Keep it OP but make it an actual city-state like Venice.

@forlornfire yes, but LKY was leader during the cold war and titled his book as such. Global South to North just sounds stupid

The only thing that bothers me is the "third world to first". We are not in the cold war anymore and first world doesn't mean rich and developed and third world=poor. Countries aligned with the US during the cold war= first world; aligned with the USSR= second world, non-aligned= third world. I swear..

@ryangoh10 yeah I've realised is very OP and NSmen is easy enough to balance but thinking a new approach to the UA. Giving it Venice's ability doesn't really make sense without a system like the Merchant of Venice given how civ works. I'll balance it down in the coming days

On the plus side, the music and aesthetics of the mod are nice, and I think this mod represents Singapore pretty well, definitely compared to the others I've seen. So, good job, but I would suggest that some changes, whether following my suggestions or not, be made to better balance this.

Also, the NS Men are rather overpowered. If you're playing this civ, your happiness should be at least decent, if you went either patronage or commerce (for a diplo victory, which seems easiest). In my game, with about ~40 happiness I think I was able to push the NSmen's combat strength up to ~80+, which is ridiculous at the era of Great War Infantry, never mind Marines having amphibious promotions too. It's probably fine to put them back with the standard Marine at Penicillin. Changi Terminal is fine though, given its strength is balanced by how late you get it.

Having won a game with this mod on Emperor a few days ago, I agree with MF that this civ is OP. The ability is almost as strong as Venice's trade route-wise, and with the golden age points from GPT it can probably match it overall, yet it isn't encumbered by Venice's drawback. You might want to consider giving the Singapore civ that same property of not being able to train settlers or found cities, which in any case fits Singapore's status as a city-state.
