I'v had a crash upon ending turn saving where Duchy of Corounne liberated the Duchy of Bordeleaux from Greenskins rebels, removing the Greenskins rebels and abandoning the city fixed it. Is there a chance this mod caused it?

I don't have the option to vassalize as the high elves, even with this mod installed. It was present for I think the first 10 turns or so, but now it's disappeared again. I didn't touch any mods or the load order or even close the game in that time, so I have no idea how it happened.

Well, yeah. Conferederation restrictions from effects and technologies, I believe that TK culture falls under that. Though I haven't played them enough to really say what their deal is.

Yeah I get what you're saying, its just that since the original mod stated "Confederate - All factions can now confederate with other factions of their type (i.e. Vampires with vampires). This does not allow factions to confederate with other culture types and confederation restrictions from effects and technologies still apply." I was hoping TK's can do so too, even if the vanilla game didn't foresee that from them (which I don't get why since no special mechanic in their race that I see would be a reason to do so).

Well, as I said, I believe the TK's have their own mechanics regarding confederation of other TK factions. I haven't played them enough to state that with certainty, but I think it's not easy, if possible at all, to circumvent that, just like it is with the Empire, for example.

Im trying to confederate other TK factions while the only option I got is to vassalize as it is the predefined mechanism. I was expecting that with this mod I could use confederation as an option but it doesn't appear.

At first I used the original version, made a comment there and someone guided me to this updated version of the mod, however it still doesn't seem to work for me. Im playing iwth Settra and trying to confederate Numas and another TK faction locked inside my empire.

Well, depends on what you're tryng to use it for. Don't TK have special mechanics for other TK's? Or is it also not working on other, non-TK factions?

Hi a request: can you make this compatible with OvN Lost Faction? Or do you have a guide on making it compatible? Looking a bit at RFPM there are mods for TEB unique culture but there isn't for OvN. Is there any easy way to add them?

@Adamsevs Sadly before that 2.3gb update it was already not working. IDK if it has something to do with my choice of mod manager though since previously when it was working I was using CA's Built In mod manager but now I'm using KMM.

I've been using it alongside over 50 other mods with no issues including on the current patch.

Hi is this mod conflicting with the OvN Lost Factions or Mixu's Legendary Lords since they both change the starting positions of factions. I cannot seem to liberate any factions.

@Scarecrow @titanbass1 I think this one for now (as long as the author continues to update it) since it has the bug fix for factions that don't own their own settlements, which the original although updated doesn't afaik.

I liberated / vassalized Alariell ans the Sisters of twilight as Count noctilus and it's working fine.
But i have one bug, when i reload the game after liberating a faction, all the huge diplomatic bonus for the treaty is gone, and i end up with both of my vassals with like -60 with them and they ended up trading roads.

That's strange.

I really like this mod. I play Malekith a lot and like to roleplay as reconquering Ulthuan and vassalizing the high elves. One issue though - diplomatically, it treats me vassalizing them as allying with them and as such I get huge negative diplomacy with other dark elves that I want to confederate. Is there any way to update or remove that diplomacy penalty or would it be impossible?

Have you considered making it so that certain races can't subjugate or liberate certain other races? Like Dwarves not being able to vassalize skaven or greenskins?

That's not even a mod doing that, lmao. You had the misfortune of meeting Vashnaar's Conquest. They're a Rogue Army with a combination of Dark Elf and Warriors of Chaos units, including Chosen and Black Dragons. They're the most powerful Rogue Army in the game, and if Vashnaar decides to start rampaging through a region all you can really do is try and pay him to go after your enemies instead of you. If you can't, well...your faction may end up being another victim of Vashnaar's Conquest.

Hey Fifty, will this mod conflict with force confederation, so when you concquer tham you can force confed?

In the force confed mod, it talkes about using onl sm0kins liberate and vassal all, and not enabling the confed so that it works. Is this is the same here?

@Ara I'll remove the link about my hacky patch for Mixu's Unlocker. Unfortunately, without the source files, I can't make a proper patch for Mixu's mod.

@Autumn All factions can make vassals, liberate dead factions, and confederate with those of the same race. Even Tomb Kings.

I'm confused... Do we still need the fix? In the text and comments you mentioned the fix but on the fix page(linked in the text here) it says it's abandoned and should not be used. Which one is incorrect?

The only other mod I have that is close to affecting this is "Reporting For Duty - Garrison Upgrade", but it only adds garrison for military buildings, this rogue army has only main chaos capital building and rest is empty.

I didn't mind it at first then they start wrecking and vampire counts with literally 1 army wiping all undead stacks and when I tried to siege rogue army settlements I had like 3 full stack lol.

I'm guessing this is the mod which made a rogue army settle within empire and steamroll everyone around since their settlement building is "Large Occupied Settlement" which has insane chaos units as garrison. The dark elf rogue army also turned to chaos after and it started creating more chaos units.

Can you tell me if this mod is the reason for them to occupy and make chaos building with insane garrison? I don't know if rogue armies can settle in vanilla but dark elf turning to chaos is weird.

I forgot to mention. It can only be used for a new campaign. Startpos.esf mods are only applied when you select a faction at the main menu.

You will need my liberation fix mod. It's a design oversight by Creative Assembly, which requires a startpos.esf edit to fix.

It is the settlement itself the dwarfen capitol. The dwarves are long gone only sub factions reamined like clan angrund and the one in araby and lustria. So the Karaz-a-karak faction does not exist anymore after the greenskins conquered them and now I am at war wit the orks and I counquered the region Karaz-a-karak but I cannot awaken the Karaz-a-karak faction.

Im with the wood elves and I can't really counquer as a result so I make vassals. I counquered Karaz-a-karak but there is no option for liberating them only to raze or to capture. I was able to liberate the entirity of ulthaun and the empire but not karaz-a-karak. The only other mods that I use does not change starting positions (region trading and an anther vassal mod)

Quick question. Does anyone know if when using this mod and you liberate a faction, does the liberated faction automatically become a vassal under you?

I'm trying to get rid of redundant mods and there is one I was using that when you liberated a faction it would automatically make them a vassal. Wasn't sure if this mod does this too or if I would need to keep the other mod if I want that particular feature.
