So Great - I will make it as if the treads have been disabled and some impacts - Jawa post empire like- and set it along an oasis somewhere perfect - Solar under the terrain - a Faved Dev. I am searching for now to show another {Polar White Mono Pillar Base with Solar Panels set below terrain on spawn. This would do well with that - and fabric {flexi prim} - awnings. Hey - projected!

Of course man! I will never be able to make anything that looks anywhere near as nice as your builds. Just throwing it out there for PvPers! Found one floating in PvP space the other day (not far away enough to be out of range of my detector). Dissecting it made me appreciate your design even more as I chipped away layer after layer. I eventually gave up on the last few bits and lumbered off VERY slowly. I suppose an aesthetic solar farm could be added to the side below the view of the gatling turrets. I imagine something like a parked sandcrawler with all the widgets set out like a little jawa camp :)

Thank you BIGMANLOGJAM. I know I was tight on CPU stock and could not put in as much fuel tanks as I would have liked. I did think about solar as well but really did not want to slap them all over the body which would have destroyed the look I was going for. However, building a solar farm on one side or the other on the ground would work. Thanks again!

People keeps spawning these in PvP playfields and I keep finding them unpowered. Lots of free concrete for me! They don't seem to hold a lot of fuel. For PvP: Recommend you add solar if you're going to print it. Also, move the core as soon as it spawns in. Great design, very complex. A pain in the ass to disassemble, but I love me some free concrete.

Thank you ERIK Centurion, Heatwave, and Zulu! @Zulu, I fear it would be pretty big as a HV and also have the tracks not work (Yeah I wish the game had working tank tracks and wheels). HV's and CPU tier limits are more or less stopping me from making any large HV's. The biggest I made in the past, the Gigantes-MFB plain and simple is dead in the water now with no hope of making it work in game decent. I will think about something HV related thou. Thanks again all!

Does this hover more than a hair above ground? When I made it on my server, it wouldn't hover, it would only move forward/backward/side to side.

That does make sense and would make the generator easier to get too. @БезмолвныйКороль, It could be you have subbed over 200 blueprints. When you do the game stops showing them but in alphabetical order. So Skaar or starting with S would be towards the bottom of the list and cut off first. I bet you would not see anything starting with T-Z either. You can fix this by finding the local BP folder and removing some you are not using (Copy to backup folder). The BP path would look something this normally: C:\Games\Steam\steamapps\common\Empyrion - Galactic Survival\Saves\Blueprints\76561297971596119 I hope that helps. Thanks again all!

@jrandall I think you misunderstood what I meant with moving the furnace. There is a space for a second furnace when you upgrade to tier 4. What I am suggesting is move the furnace to that space and have its current location reserved for the second furnacve - that way you have a space for both furnace but can access the initial generator if you upgrade the shield without upgrading generator capacity

Thanks Kitran. It really is lacking the upgrade LCD info. There is a spot to add a second generator (on wall near a funace) when switching to T3 and adding a shield. I however should have left instructions on what to do and where to add parts. I may look at that and update the BP. Also, I agree, the sensor range for the teleporter should be dialed down to just where the teleporter is. The furnaces are not something I can move easy. They need 3x3x3 area and be away by a block for heat issues as well. Thanks for the info and thanks again!

I've also come across the issue of power when upgrades are in place. With the shield left at T1 power peaks at 91% when charging the shield. Upgrading to T2 is something like 177% even with everything else turned off. This is exacerbated by the generator being inaccesible - you can just about see it behind the furnace but its not possible to target it with a multitool to repair. I would suggest removing the furnace from there and moving it to the other spot for a furnace - this means at least if somone runs into this problem they can repair the generator while working out how to provide extra power

@jrandall Another cool design - I've now built one in my Eden Project survival game but have a couple of suggestions for minor improvements:
1) Add an LCD describing what needs to be done to upgrade - It took me a while to realise I had to remove the t3 extenders to place the remaining t4 extenders, also the method for actually setting the teleporter to use the sensor could be hard to work out.
2) Adjust the range on the sensor for the teleporter - to use the teleporter you actually have to be on the block itself however the sensor by default covers the whole area of the 3 x 3 cube which is too much. I adjusted the settings to 2, 1, 1, 1, 1 which covers the T and the block between the teleporter and the sensor. An added benefit of this is you can actually walk past the teleporter easily without it turning on

Mate love the base! I am using it in my own scenario. It's won't ever be published, it's just a private game. I had made a few changes I noticed you couldn't add more or upgrade to T2 without running out of power. So I took over the jail cell to add another gen. I also added 6 more fuel cells. It was fun poking them in and keeping to the same look and feel. Again Great base! Thank you.

Thank you _WALKON_ and 3D House of Beef! @3D House of Beef, I would guess it is trying to fire turrets or sentry guns at nearby critters but is lacking ammo for one of the turret types. If it is, the game makes that sound when the turret tries to fire. It could be just one ammo type that is not loaded. Any creation that has turrets will do that. This would need 15 mm, 30 mm, flak shells, and sentry gun ammo. I hope that helps. Thanks again all!

The clock in the walls.

This base. It ticks. Ticks like a clock. Not at the beginning, but I returned to it one day and there is a ticking centered somewhere around where the repair block would be mounted in the hangar. It never stops. It ticks. Sometimes, it will add a second ticking and it will be ticking in rounds.

You cannot escape it. You can hear it all the way in the upper garden area, or out on the balcony.

Why did it start? How do you make it stop? It's space madness.

I'm not kidding. It ticks forever. Day after day. Just ticking like a clock.
