Definitely one of the coolest maps in terms of concept and design! The idea of traveling to so many unique places is really cool. I have noticed one issue is that I strangely get “connection interrupted” a few times now that I’ve played this map, usually when pack a punching past round 30. Not sure if this is a bug with the map or something on my end.

More unique features would be nice, but it’s still a really cool map as is.
I’m guessing this map can’t be updated more, but maybe a rework/“sequel” some day that adds a few new features and new zone or two would be awesome!

Also, collab with deadshot maybe? Seeing they’re also a fan it seems. Would be awesome to have two incredible map developers teaming up!

I had too many different themes I wanted to make and just not enough time so this was the only was to do it lol. I've taken a break from zombie map making and been trying other things but would love to return to it at some point. I had planned an additional area (might be accessible via noclip). But it might be better off as it's own map. Sorry for it being on the basic side in terms of features, I've always been into the design side than anything else. I'm really glad that you enjoy the map and still come back to it. Hopefully if I make another map in the future it lives up to expectations :P

When someone asks me what my favorite map is, I still come back to this one. I don't know exactly why or how, but it feels like such a creative and passion-filled map with so much attention on the different environments to make them unique. Although it lacks unique features (i.e., it has base weapons and a shield iirc), it's still so well done with what it aimed to be.

I don't know if you will make another map, but just know this one is something real special to me and that you did a good job on it, truthfully.

I personally found the zombie spawns to be very poorly optimized, as I found myself having rounds take way longer than they should, which is unfortunate, since I think this map would be fun if they were optimized.

I would suggest putting some fog near the edge of the Ship's room box to hide the fact that it is in a box. Custom Weapons would also make this map 10x cooler, There are asset packs for guns that other people have made. More little easter eggs and possibly a bigger one for more back story would be nice. Love the sound design as it is done quite well. Possibly make the ship larger more so for the interior space to be more forgiving and add some ground spawns for zombies in the mine section. Love the doorway effect. 8/10 just need some more to it. Maybe add a small interaction section with dynamite sound in the mine to open the tomb. Just Ideas as I really do find the map is great it just needs more to it to keep up with the big dogs and make it more replayable.

Good map so far, but my game CTD'd when I threw Lil' Arnie after the spirit spawned in. Not sure whether or not it's an issue on my end, but could you double check it?

Latest update now live:
Fix in place for the Crusader zombie head hit boxes
Zombie movement has been altered for the stairs, this should help them avoid getting stuck

WIP - New area being worked on (Very early stages)
I have tried to make sure the light from the new area does not bleed into other areas. It is not accessible right now as it is not in a playable state. I am making this clear in case there are any bugs as a result.

Great work, I really love the idea of your map. But strangely, the hitbox of the templar zombies seems to be a little inaccurate. I need to aim at their mouths to get headshots, bullets go right though their heads. Any luck to fix this?

yeahh lmao, I was making a challenge map too before and I was adding vulture aid and other custom perks in and I destroyed all my map data and source data so I know it can be rough building maps lmao, but really great job.

@Ma079tt - Thank you for taking the time to provide the detailed feedback. I can look into the possibility of adding a couple of rooms to the market area as that shouldn't cause any issues with the rest of the map. Like you say it wouldn't be right away lol but it would allow for the extra perks to be added. In hindsight it might have been worth me adding something like an item to be collected to allow the boss room to be opened cause others like yourself have reached the boss far earlier than I was expecting.

I'm really glad you like the map. I will certainly keep an open mind on my next map. Currently in the early stages of planning it.

Here's my thoughts...
It's A GREAT map, I'd put it at my top 5 maps ever, maybe even toppling some official treyarch maps. It is very small, which is good because it makes the game hard, however I feel like some things were lacking. I love the rooms and I feel like there should just be more. Now I know that's not an easy task... I make maps myself. However, it is so good I want more of it. I would suggest not now, but in the future, copy and paste this map and add more rooms to it. One thing that really itched me was the lack of perks. Widow's Wine is my favorite perk along with electric cherry, if you can find a way to add these in, that would make the map feel like it has more. You see it is very easy to get to the buyable ending, I got to it by round 3. The boss is difficult but fun at the same

time. However summoning him round 3 and essentially beating him by then makes the map feel lack luster to say the least. I just believe that there could be just a bit more. When you get a taste of something sweet people tend to want a mouthful. The map is amazing like I said, but if there is any way you can find the time to make 1 or 2 more rooms, it would be sick. Imagine a chemist's lab with electric cherry, or a jungle with glowing lights and vines all over, right where you get Widow's Wine. I never made a comment on any map but this one intrigued me as I love it so much I want more of it. Of course I know it is hard to make new rooms and just adding things in does not come by the click of a button. However, I just want to share my thoughts as one creator and player to another.

And please, make a sequel to this map or something, it is so good.

@andy6170 the stairs by the end game prompt, like going up to it at the bottom of it usually the right hand side you clip the stairs and it stops you from moving

I genuinely loved this map the only real problem I had was that I wished it was longer but even as is me and my friend had a blast playing really beautiful map and well designed. Boss was pretty cool wish he had more health though (I would say it took me and my friend all of 20 seconds maybe 30) but to be fair we were using modded guns which were pack-a-punched which may not have been super balanced. Modded guns would have been a nice touch but with all the gun packs out already it wasn't an issue at all (me and my buddy played it with PSH's IW weapon pack which was fun) all and all great map and I will for sure be replaying this with other people 10/10.

I've been checking out your videos too and it's been great to see how each of you have been playing and seeing how people react to the boss room door. Some of you played the map in ways I didn't expect, some even beating the boss much faster than intended lol. Most importantly thank you for playing.

-The concept is great but you should find a way to make those portals a little bit realistic, idk maybe use the SOE portal models?
-The ambient sounds are a total win, loved those.
-The Boss should have more health
-Novisula glitches found or bugs, great job!
-Pack reskin is hilarious

Yo dude you don't have your map tagged as zombies which is gonna really hurt it's popularity once it's off the front page of the workshop, highly recommend changing that now.

New update:
Added buildable shield (Construct it where you could previously purchase)
Further fixes to Zombie movement behaviour
Added barrier to the other side of the ship (stops confusion of invisible barrier)
All copyright music now correctly turns off when turning down music in settings

Known issues:
Perk machines give 200 instead of 100 points
Volumetric light bleeding through doors - Fix - Turn on Dynamic Shadows in settings
