What script errors do you get at the beginning? Neither myself or the people who tested for me got that..
I unfortunately can't do anything about the artillery... You do have an AT soldier though, and explosives on the engineer.

About them just standing in the open, I just wanted to make a quick and action oriented mission, so it is what it is :)

Good attempt, but...
1.Unplayable in SP due to revive script kicking in at strange places (i.e. teammates who I have teamswitched to and back end up unconscious). Needs a isMultiplayer check.
2.Lots of script errors at the beginning
2.Friendly artillery delivered only 1 shot out of 20 requested [BIS bug]
3.Enemy artillery doesn't do anything - CROWS turrets are just looking into the sky [BIS bug]
4.No explosives for the team? Could have given at least an AT specialist.
5.6 artillery pieces are just stading in the open? Near the front line? No AA/armor guarding? Not going to happen.

Consider this a friendly criticism ;)
