Open the game and go into the event editor. There should be a module called HAC
There should be an event for growing for each of the classes.
The very first node has a conditional that says something along the lines of fra_chance and then a percentage (I think 3)
Just bump that up to 100 if you want to assure that it always fires asap

Yes, I did. I un-installed them and then re-installed the mods and they seem to be working now, I think.

You are actually activating them in the menu, right?
There should be nor reason for mods to not activate, crashing, sure, but once they're enabled in the menu they're active.

Sorry, the mods weren't activating and Rat Tales was somehow disabled. I've been going mod by mod to try and see if there is a conflict somewhere. Oh well, I'm sure I'll get it running when I find the offender :D

You still haven't actually said what's not working lol.
But yes most likely it's something coming from the bunch.
This one does not interact with any other mod in the workshop unless you also downloaded the Russian translation that some guy made because I believe it's outdated by now.

I have downloaded a bunch of mods and looking at all of them, I'm not seeing where they conflict. In my next playthrough, I'll unsubscribe from a few at a time to see if I can find the conflict.

Also, for some reason I can't get Rat Tales to launch. I've spoken to a few peeps at MuHa already, so I'll send them a save with an explanation next week.

There should be no need to change anything. There should be an event that requires gathering and crafting (the requirements are higher than for other stats).

Yes. You need to finish all the trinket quests and then it will trigger a few turns later.

So I just got the event to to turn one of my Healers into a Cultist. Only problem was that he was already a Cultist. Assuming that is not intentional.

All the localization is due to custom (new) stuff, so here should be no crossover.

The last quest line is finally done. Be mindful about it, it will require a strong well-rounded team.

There'll be some changes to some currently bugged swordmaster skills too and a recipe for completing all 4 quests. Some changes to existing trinkets too.

Question! If I reject an advanced class event does it still have a chance to trigger later for that same characture? For example say I get to level 10 and the event triggers to get a sword master but I want my char to be level 20 before resetting to swordmaster. Can I reject the event and get it again later?

Class trinkets for two of the classes have been introduced and can be unlocked via their quest lines. You can now place all the classes in any combat type and their class icons have been updated.

The next update will add the standard attack (blunt force) to the skill pool, so you will be able to place the characters in any challenge type (extremely inefficiently however). There will also be 9 trinket variants that are combat oriented tool slot items. They will increase a working attribute (like crafting) and two attributes (one % one flat). The last classes' one increases defense instead at the cost of all working attributes. All recipes are locked behind class specific (requires that class) quest lines.

I looked into the 4th class again and I'll implement it later on. has undergone some major design changes.
here's the current idea:
Trapper
- Any Human Scoundrel/Scavenger Class with 5+ in all attributes
- Primary + Secondary based class (all challenges)
- Can't use jewelry
- Skills use unique resources for extra effects or extra damage that are generated when entering the battlefield
- Hard to play class that varies on battlefield size, unit placement, action time and is very strong early on in the fight and extremely weak on the second phase
