Hey Mad Hatter, I just wanted to say a big thanks for all the amazing mods you’ve made! I use almost all of them, and they’ve really helped improve my experience in the game. I’m honestly very grateful for the work you put into making them available to everyone.

I’m not a modder myself, so I really appreciate all the effort you put into these, but I had a thought that maybe a mod for hiding cargo stations for full customization could be a fun addition? I know it's not exactly a common need, but given your expertise, I think it could be a relatively simple addition for someone like you, and it would definitely make things easier for people trying to create custom industries. Just an idea—no pressure at all, and I totally understand if it's not feasible. Keep up the great work! :D

yes alt grl will show the paths and terminals and yes you can have mdl files with only paths and no objects. So yes you can do that. - Modders generally are creating something they need and making it available to all or creating something they've been asked for. :)

No such mod on the workshop, mm it also seems strange to me that no one ever needed to hide the entire cargo station for customization?

You want to hide the cargo? you can put it 'below ground'. The only things that really matter are the paths and terminals / edgelists. Everything else is eye-candy / prettyness.

Hi, is there a way to make a truck station cargo completely invisible for customization? I want to create an industry with an invisible cargo station inside.

Hi Mad Hatter,

building small and demolishing is what I do at the moment. Thanks for the response and the great mod. I do like the stopping at the end of the platform, makes a lot more sense and gives a lot more room.

So probably the best bet is to build the smallest depot and then increase it with the bits you want
unless you want a massive vanilla platform depot.

Hi no is the simple answer - to be honest the mod initially was done to allow the choice of stopping point to be the end of the platform rather than the middle. Then it was a case of what else can usefully do with this. :)

Hello,

I am loving this mod, thanks for the great work.

I am using them mostly for cargo terminals. Is there any way to specify the platform type when building? I am finding that I have to create a station, then go into the configure and delete the platform, and then add the building type that I want (i.e. wooden, concrete etc).

I think it may of been mentioned but the trucks at the stations don't stop at the end, they're back to the middle, after the Spring update. I have started a new map with just 5 mods, including yours.
Should i unsubscribe and resubscribe?

That's nice, because I really love playing in early era. Sad that not so many vehicles for this era inside workshop and I already have them all :) Some horse powered barge will be nice to have as for example (maybe it's impossible at all, because horses needs to use road along the river). And small capacity rowing+sailing barges and boats too.

Fixed - Only one icon and no blue box - entrance disable is now working again. Also as I know there are mods out there for an early start so its available from 1800.

"Normal" icon have name "TRUCK STATION, CHOOSE ERA" and description "Modular truck station.Choose era", "blue square" have name "TRUCK STATION" and similar description "Modular truck station.Choose era". Also "normal" one have disabling entrance selector at the bottom of settings window, "blue square" hasn't.

Hello, I see two icons from your mod in menu, one normal with picture and "by era" text, and one blank blue square. Looks like this blank square from previous version, because tuning window looks slightly different from the new one. It's supposed to be so, or it's something wrong? There is no mod related warnings and errors messages in stdout.log

I guess I should point out that the change will only affect newly placed terminus not an existing one. :)

@GrumpyZade - so that was more 'interesting' than I was expecting however it is done. Adding warehouses around the edge will now increase the storage.

@Mad Hatter completely agree especially since that mod is easily replaceable. Your's isn't lol, with that being said do you think you could add the new function? It kinda makes it hard to choose. If I want a fairly small station with some capacity I can't currently. The building can be placed, they just don't add to the capacity, again not referring to your platforms

I think you may have misunderstood me, I wasn't talking about the platforms you added. Regardless the storage function stopped working for me all together. Although after some testing that I said I was going to do, it isn't your station being the issue. It was just confusing that you updated it without adding the storage features to the vanilla buildings added to the stops. The issue is extended terminals v1.3.

I have over 100 mods. I run a check on them all when urban release a new beta. However things change so I rechecked this mod. There doesn't 'seem' to be any issue with it.

@GrumpyZade - I didn't add the storage feature to this mod. As it sort of doesn't make sense. The buildings aren't in addition to the platform just covering it so why would the storage go up.

@madhatter First off that fix was much appreciated, but I think it may have caused an issue with the buildings new storage feature. Only two mods updated after the release so I'll be troubleshooting that one as well as it could be either one causing this little issue

Hello there! This mod throws an error before building, if I try to activate lamp posts on an era c station.
When I try to activate lamps in edit-mode later on, it crashes the game.

Error and crash point to line 3115 with an attempt to index a nil value.

Issue: generatedData["cargo_size_n_r_rep_era_c"] appears to be missing.

Fixed a small bug after the last change when you placed a depot you got repeating options in the config menu. Now fixed.

Just stopping at the end of the platform and not in the middle would make this mod worth having but I think I will enjoy the other features too. :selike:

Everything is fine on the save game with the date 1850 and a new map since 2000. “Long” becomes if you change the year from 1850 to 2000 on the current map. But this is nonsense.

I am currently using the vanilla platform with no stations so I can add your wonderful stations, BUT I would really LOVE to use your gravel/dirt stations.
