hello, I like your works a lot
I am running into an issue with this one, the AI timur was ahead of everyone when he was in my games, (he was in information era when everyone was in renaissance) I thought he was really having a good game with wartime eurekas but when I later played him I noticed that it works like Babylon and eurekas give full tech instead of %75 discount when at war. without even researching the prerequisite. I don't know if this is the case with everyone or if it is clashing with any other mod that I have, wanted to give a heads up

I have those, what can i do? Can you help me with a thing else? In my mods, i need find one that is multiply the inherit bonus of unique units, so, they are extremelly strong and almost undestructible, i dont want this, do you know which mod can mess with it and cause this issue?

the only incompatibility I know (with my mods) is with mods like "Steel and thunder" that change the sizes of units.

Yes, i agree, but, the fact is, when a enable your leader mods, the spearman and warriors (melee) became only one big soldier, and the assets go to the limit, missing arts of the leaders. When i enable, p.ex. merricks leaders, doesnt happen

Well, with my other mods, when i enable your mod looks like overflow my graphics, my leaders loose hair or dissapear, and my spearmans and warriors show only one soldier by tile

cuse dude i lost my + yield bonuses when i have 4 th city
then its cavalary also so weak
+ killing pop that much for just few loyalty also effect badly cuse loyalty == pop so also useless perk
if you will improve that things it will be great
the only empire that grown like empire with just 1 leader that Timurid Empire
maybe you can add better horse power better pastures idk maybe better war ideology
will be great

Hello Timur fans!
I just made a major update:
Now Timur looks a bit closer to the original, I think. It was much requested.
Made a major change to the leader trait.

Those who loved the Tower of Skeletons should not be sad:
I will make a special personna of Timur for the next "Great Commanders" pack, where you can find part of his previous trait, as well as the Tower of Skeletons.

Leader trait is trash cuse its gone when you build 4 th city also its not logical traits or units if you will work about this it will be really nice. I dont understand why game isnt add it cuse this empire is so powerfull and has 0 to Empire progress with just 1 Leader

I know my Timur looks more like an Indian leader. I couldn't find a 3D model that I liked.
Yes, I know there are plenty of paintings of Timur on the net, but it doesn't match the graphic style of the game.

Could it be you're mistaking Mughals with Timuruds? He looks a lot Indian than he shouldn't be.

One option is to have Timur's capital as Samarqand (w/ a 'q'), and have the city state as 'Samarkand' (w/ a 'k'). Or maybe change the city state name to Marakanda, as Samarkand was originally known, or to Tashkent, since Buqhara was a major city in Timur's empire

in this civ mod, it is a player starting location that is defined on the maps, it is not tied to a particular city. the name change is a cosmetic replacement of the text that occurs when there is a duplicate, this replacement has no effect on the starting location.

Unfortunately the renaming of city state Samarqand seems to break any ynamp TSL support from CSE. But anyway, TSL support for Samarqand with the TSL of Samarqand makes no sense if Timurids are in the game, even if it's renamed to Bukhara. For this reason i suggest and ask you, if possible, to put also ynamp support for Bukhara. Then it would be possible to have Timurids and Bukhara on ynamp maps. Would be great. TSL tile in ynamp giant earth for Bukhara is 52/61

He could certainly stand, and was also renowned for his riding skills. It was only in his later life, when he was also largely blind, that he had to be carried in a litter for longer distance travel.

Im mixed, i always felt Timur would be like Alexander sorta, seeing how Timur pretty much sent scientist, artist and architects back to Samarkan form cities her captured... The tower of Skulls is intresting don't know it its possable but i feel like it should have no population cost in captured cities since your killing off plenty of people when you capture it. What ever the case though i glad to see him in the game, been craving him in civ and seeing Samarkan as a city state makes me thing there is not chance of him

Great mod. Would be cool to have the requirement of the Tower of Skulls be that you kill like 3 enemy units per tower. That way it forces you to go to war to keep your civilization intact.

Timur is born in 1336. His injury probably happened in about 1363, when Tamerlane was serving as a mercenary for the Khan of Sistan in Khorasan, in what is today the "Desert of death", in Afghanistan. Another source, Ibn Arabshah, a Syrian chronicler from the 15th Century, says a watchful shepherd spied Tamerlane prowling about his flock of sheep, smashed his shoulder with one well-directed arrow and loosed off another into his hip for good measure. Timur was therefore not always disabled.

As far as I know Timur was crippled and couldn't stand so having him standing isn't too accurate.
