Same dynamic population and random mission assignment.
Plus AI Unit caching across the entire map. Hugely increasing performance for local hosting.

To be fair, the mission is definitely due for a 2021 update.

It should launch fine as long as you do the above "launch in Solo or LAN" procedure.
It will play the same way as a SP mission, you can still solo everything. Just the option is there for friends to jump in with you too :steamhappy:

Are you launching in local host? Sounds like you’re launching mission from SP Scenarios and not Local Host?

It also Mission Fails around the 1:40 mark, but no UI. If you close the map after that point it locks you out of your controls and you have to Alt F4 to get out of the game.

Seems like this no longer works. I boot it up and im just stuck spectating a beech. Waited 2mins and still nothing.

@Frosted Vert No it's not quite the same as DRO. There is no menu at the start to select params.

If you build missions, yes you can use DMP with any faction and any mod. But once the mission is made it's set.
Missions are randomly selected from the pool of missions, AO is randomly assigned and populated with the faction you chose when making the mission in the editor.
But yes as a mission maker, DMP will allow you to make small or large scale Jets style scenarios.

If I understand this right, I can generate air missions as interesting as the Fixed Wing and Jets DLC showcases? That'd be fantastic.

My follow-up would be to ask if I can select factions as easily as in the Dynamic Recon Ops scenarios. For example, use Global Mobilization, CUP or RHS factions simply by selecting them from a menu.

Not just protection gear, but honestly the assets/props they added are pretty sweet too. I love making cool immersive bases/HQs, so all that "Rugged" Military gear they added in Contact is just yum.

FYI though, you don't need Contact to play this mission, which only uses assets/props from the dlc. As long as the dlc stuff isn't actually fitted to the players you don't need Contact to play it.

"to make them as immersive as possible" Contact DLC have the best protection gear in the entire game, its starting to stink of "pay to win". I think BI is feeding mission makers to sell their overpriced DLCs. Noting personal, mission is probably very good.

Cheers for the suggestion mate, but it's pretty unlikely at this stage.
I use a lot of Contact and Laws assets in my HQs and Bases to make them as immersive as possible. To remove those would leave the Bases quite baron and empty :rockon:

Please remake a version without contact, and laws of war. If possible remove anything that wasn't used, but was loaded during mission making. +1
