Still has many of the the game-breaking bugs, but seems to play nicer with SPE since it's update.

@CCR_1970 For me the mod works fine when you have iron front loaded with it, and if you have East Asian War's melee mod unload that one

use this mod with funny Funny's Tactical Animation.They are not conflict, they will even work better than before, which of course I mean before the one-handed pistol animated version. I think it is necessary to roll back this MOD to an older version, as there were no serious bugs at that time

@IceBlue This is a bug that only exists in the latest version. It is most likely caused by the config of the one-handed pistol. I have seen those configs, and even tried to study and modify them, but I still can’t find the reason

Thanks for the support! I know I've been a bit vague about future updates, but having multiple other projects to look after, this one hasn't got the time it deserves. I can't promise anything big, but been working on a mod with similar systems, and probably going to use that as a base to release a some kind of lite version/2.0 of IWA, with less features,but should be more stable, robust and versatile on different arma theaters. Don't want to get your hopes up too much as i can't promise any time frame, but i'm having this project still on back of my mind.

I also wanna throw my hat into the ring and say you should pick this back up if you get a chance. Currently, I'm experiencing a bug where the AI arms turn to noodles and they grab their gun from behind their back while they're walking/stationary on some weapons. It only happens to a few NPCs and it seems to effect them regardless of if they have the same weapons or not. For the NPCs that it works properly for, though, it's awesome and looks a lot better than everyone having their guns at the ready literally all the time. I mean seriously, how do their arms not get tired in vanilla?

I hope you don't mind a tip from a Vietnam veteran: when carrying the rifle with one hand at the side, the muzzle should be pointed at the ground. People would get pissed off at you if you pointed the muzzle at their ass instead of the ground. We really need this animation in the game, and you got a great start here. I hope you can complete the work.

Also noticed, walking backwards has a funny tick. The character seems to walk backward into an invisible object for a moment before figuring out there is nothing there then proceeds to walk backward with no trouble.

I've noticed the idle animations are too fast. I'm spit balling, but they need to be slowed by about 50%

Hope this gets stable some day, not just for the WWII mods, the tacti-cool animation set from the vanilla game is just bad in general. It's only suitable for door kicking. For every other application, it looks like garbage.
