For now it is the official sequence.
Actually that is something that my mod manager will be capable of in the future - to create manually rearranged versions of subscribed soundtrack mods.
But it's not that much in total. Most days it's more like ~5.
So you have to redo your changes/store them somewhere else - OR you could use my mod manager and create these files asyour own mod setup that can be organized and un/reinstalled by my mod manager with just one click. :)
But you should have a clean installation when using my tool and look into its manual first so you know how to use it.
Normally this should work. But for what reason ever soundtrack mods seem to be a bit more buggy than other types of mods. Don't know if it's for their size or what ever. So beside this should work for every kind of mod - in case of soundtracks I would suggest to do it manually all the time - saves time and nerves.^^
and yes please upload BGII!!
So, for next time I subscribe to a soundtrack, even if I have a soundtrack in Age2HD\sound\music, it will be overwritten if I let the whole chess video play?
This means canceling them too early also cancels the mods extraction.
And in case there are too much data, it will be cut of at the chess videos startup, so you have to do another restart to finish the extraction.
Especially with larger mods I recommend to extract the mods archive file (in AoE\mods) manually to your AoE folder. It will ask you to overwrite the existing files then and everything will work. :)
And yes - doing your own soundtracks is really easy - therefore I mention it in my descriptions. :)
Does this mean there is no need for a BGII one?
Oh, and just in case - I uploaded a complete LotR soundtrack covering all 10 hours of the movies.
Then rename the music to xmusic1, xmusic2, xmusic3, etc.
After I made a playlist on it, I used it for 1 game then decided to get "Lord of The Rings SoundTrack" from lincolnlou.
After I downloaded it, nothing happened. It said the workshop content was downloaded, and "Ready To Play", but I looked back at Age2HD\sound\music and the folder is empty.
Do you know about this problem? and How can it be fixed?
Thanks for making this.
Since FE the AoE soundtrack has 20 seperate tracks. Each track that is not overwritten, will play after the mods soundtrack before it restarts.
So what should I do with the remaining tracks, multiply act one, add other tracks, just replace one/specific track(s) in the default order, ...?
But I'm already working on a LotR one. And I'll have a look at UT ('99 or a newer one?).
I guess alot of people will thank you if they wan't it!
i thank you anyways for that it is a nice adition to the game!!
