I'm sorry to say that at this point in time my financial attention is turned towards yet another project in order to fill a unique niche or hole in ArmA's Modslist. It has something to do with both the Air, and the Sea
I know for certain there are such ideas as optional equipable shoulder armor incorporated in mods like "TAC VESTS" by Zabb, if you're wishing for more armors to pair with the mask!

just idea for more similarity with guys from Army of Two - shoulder armor (from vanilla heavy vests) (or shoulder armor + nvg) in nvg slot.
(bcs not all cool bulletproof vests have this shoulder armor, but AoT guys almost always being in vests with shoulder armor)

Yes, your mod requires ACE for working all NVG, i think thats must be in mod requirements
Honestly this is sad, great mod, but not standalone and cant be used without ACE
i check BettIR, and i think thats is why this mod killing vanilla nvg - i havent ACE and BettIR, lol
i play with rhs too, and some other mods without conflicts.
But this mod just delete all vanilla NVG from virtual arsenal, pvs-7 just doesnt work, if i try to use them standalone they told "No entry 'bin/CfgWeapons/pvs7.type'. ", if i try to use them not standalone errors is little different, sometimes errors about animation bin, sometimes about other nvg from other mods, like "rhsusf_anpvs_15" bin, and other modded nvg doesnt work too, and with other modded thermal vision glasses same situation.
Sorry if something hard to understand, my english is bad, and sorry if this info doesnt help you, i just dont know nothing about serious modding.

Also, could you clarify what you mean by an overlay? Such as eyehole vision while utilizing the mask in first person?
