Great looking ship, but didn't last 60sec the first time it was attacked in vanilla. Was at Ozuucho Sector, enemy CV snuck up while I was mining and shredded it in about 40sec. I had full shields, fully loaded weapons, and it lasts maybe 45sec. Is this game just broken, or what can stand up to these enemies? Feel like I mined like crazy, waited 12hours for this thing to build, and it was all for nothing.

J I love your ships, and I want to love this one, but for some reason when I look at the cockpit exterior I doesn't say Kriel to me. Not like the Overseer or the Shade. Is it the 'hood' that does this? Really nice ship overall, just bugged by that. You rock man.

EDIT:
The Nephelim is too long for the Accipter's cargo bay, and confuses the hangar door sensor. So I'm going to try a Ravager ;)

Hi Jeff, you do great work and if I need another ship, you're the only builder I specifically look up.
Anyways, I built an Ares Destroyer but it wasn't strong enough to face most Zirax cap ships, so I built a Skaar Raider Mk1 and while this ship was much more capable, it doesn't have enough hangar space. So now I'm looking at the Kriel-Accipter but I can't tell how large the hangar is. I currently have a highly modified Wayfarer-ST housing an equally highly modified T4 Merc-MX5E, and I want to build a Kriel-Nehpilim too. Can the Accipter hold the SV and HV internally?

Hey Jeff! VERY awesome job here, looks mean, packs a punch, and even lets you play Farmer LOL. Thanks for your hard work, this one’s AWESOME, great design!

I'm currently on the moon, killed all Zirac defenses, but the Rares are dear so I can’t build it yet. Went into Creative for an hour or two & decided I really want it. (Went back, since I try to play straight, no CM or GM)

Surprised no Clone chamber, I'll add one next to Medicals and dump the Cryro chambers, doubt I'll need them ...

Shame we don't have the ability to add spawners because of Faction. It'd be funny if you set a hidden one up on random timer and you sorta "forgot" to mention it in the specs (in one of your late game designs)

That would keep you on your toes. Innocently walk into your Garden and a Zirax Commander is standing there! LOL

@el_nino @jrandall Just wanted to say that I'm having the same repair issue on planets. In orbit, it seems to work just fine. Other than that, I love this ship!

Thank el_nino and Old Man Gamer (OMG)! @el_nino, I have seen that happen before myself. Not on this ship, but other attempts at repairing now and then. I really have no idea what causes that and my best guess would be some kind of game bug. Thanks again all!

Golden Unicorn to be sure. I really like this design. I modified this into the OMG Big Badaboom. Fully Xeno and combat ready now, but did my best to keep the design true to the original creation.

great job on this one, i was using it as mid game ship.
however ive ran into an single but very concerning issue.
landed on a moon, entered hangar with nmk's interceptor and when i tried to repair it, entire ship, well both, just teleported into the air like 60-70m high..was quite the adventure to get them down...now, unsure if thats game bug, or one of those ghost blocks issue. if anyone else runs into issue be sure to either confirm or deny, since ive moved on to a much bigger carrier as i see fit.

Push N - Debug - show oxygen, in single player it works like all current builds form Empyrion´s Da Vinci. Maybe a switch in the same room or control panel is off? Oxygen tank empty?

I love the ship but have one problem. I can't get plants to grow. I get the error there's no oxygen which I do notice if I take off my helmet anywhere in the ship. How to fix that?

Beautiful shape. Overall, while I use the Asteria more because of the size of that hangar, this just looks so much cooler. There's something very predatory about the shape. Beautiful design work all round!

Yesterday something strange happened. I'm not saying it is directly related to Kriel-Accipiter (which I love by the way) but it happened to it. I let the Kriel-Accipiter landaded on a planet with 3 vehicles inside. I went to attack a POI. When I came back, happily full of loot to deposit, for my surprise, all 3 vehicles inside Kriel-Accipiter vanished. I had to go back to a 1-hour-old save (which I constantly back up). I don't know what happened but now I'm a little bit concerned that it may happen again... Did anyone ever experienced something like that?

I been avoiding really big builds at the moment but plan to get to it again pretty soon. @Belamber, I will take a look at that and fix it. Thanks for the heads up. @ZappPSR and Grimshost, that sounds like a good plan. I really wish the range of a repair bay was increased some. It seems very touchy with ships in range. Thanks again all!

@Grimghost: In my case, when I use repair, if the ship is landed on a planet's surface, it goes up to an unreacheable height, leting me down below on the floor. My workaround is to do only repairs while flying, even better in space.

Minor thing I noticed; Looking out the forward bridge, the right-hand side exterior spotlight follows Engineering Lights instead of External Lights.

Thank you Ramar and Castro! @Ramar, I am not sure what the difference in Reforged would be vs the standard game. This should be version 1.x ready, but reforged I think some of the rules changed with weapon counts I think. I guess I am not 100% sure. And thank you again all!

Had to extend my base rather much to fit her on a landing pad, but that's OK! =D

Spent more than 1800 armored concrete blocks to make her a pad.

Ooooo, I've been saving resources for a loong time to get something like this. Rather, exactly like this!

Made a few small tweaks for my self, like a Captain's quarter back in engineering. Because yes, there is enough room for that.

And just a few light tweaks here and there. I do like to have the medical area somewhat bright, for that touch of realism.

Been stocking her for her maiden voyage. She is almost ready to go :)

Needed to craft a fudgeton of ammo. Because she has got many many pointed teeth!

Thanks johnietoth1967. The shade does not have one currently. I built and released the ship in Alpha 11 before those parts were in the game. I do plan on giving it a quick update to add a detector thou. Thanks again!

Thank you Witski, and johnietoth1967! @Witski, The drone hatch is a option for the player to jump up, hit F5 on the keyboard and launch a drone outside the ship to use for maybe collecting resources or repair. So you don't phyically have to walk out and potentially put your self in danger. @johnietoth1967, It should have a detector opposite of the wifi in the back room above the hangar. I will double check thou. Thanks again all!
