new to Steam, not sure if there is a way to search comments to see if th\is has already been asked...sorry if it has...

is there a way to make it such that only the civ that created the wonder in the canon can build the wonder in game?

Centurio Populari 27 Nov, 2016 @ 3:12pm
@MaxMo Actually, Minas Tirith is the capital of Gondor, while Helm's Deep (aka the Hornburg) is a fortress in Rohan.
ymamy 20 Nov, 2016 @ 9:05am
@timothee.noirot Minas Tirith is the elvish name for Helm's deep
Hidden Inner Tim 22 Oct, 2016 @ 11:13am

Hidden Inner Tim 22 Oct, 2016 @ 11:11am

mode:XG.Ame^^ 24 Jul, 2016 @ 9:40am
@snipingfool machu pichu is a wonder in civ 5 vanilla but that is a city
adeenine 22 Jul, 2016 @ 7:19am
@Snipingfool Barad-Dûr and the Golden Hall aren't cities, though. Besides, the Forbidden CITY is a wonder. Cities can be wonders - in Middle-Earth lore, great songs are sung far and wide about the golden halls of Erebor and the majesty of the white halls of Minas Tirith. They're treated with a fair bit of amazement and glory. I don't know about you, but that's exactly what a wonder is for me.
Snipingfool 8 Jul, 2016 @ 8:17am
cities are not wonders..
Jrgn 30 Jun, 2016 @ 7:41am
what about moria?
Pag 29 Jun, 2016 @ 11:17pm

PrussianP 15 Feb, 2016 @ 5:17am
could you plaese add some natural wonders, for example mt gundabad or erebor. In addition to the black marshes and mt doom
cylgalad 6 Sep, 2015 @ 2:06am
Would it be possible to have an all-in-one mod pack with all these wonders, please?
Taron 19 Dec, 2014 @ 5:45pm
Or Minas Morgul should be cool too :)
Taron 19 Dec, 2014 @ 5:44pm
Can you make Black Gate?
Hood Iroh 18 Dec, 2014 @ 10:40pm
I'm sure someone already suggested the Argonath (giant statues of the river in FoTR), though i won't go through all the comments to check. Other cool ones you could add would be the black gate, minas itil, helms deep, dol amroth, and weathertop

Also, would you consider the possibilities of adding natural wonders to the game? you could add places like mount doom, fangorn forest, the dead marshes and other cool locations
Mewtuii 1 Nov, 2014 @ 6:23pm
they should add the mines of moria
Snek4President 21 Oct, 2014 @ 11:02am
Moo Cow the fortress was called "Isengard" the tower is called "The Orthanc"(or how ever u spell it) so it makes since considering the picture show not just the orthanc, also i 2 wish they had models.
Moo Cow 26 Sep, 2014 @ 3:31am
Wish Isengard was called Orthanc and that that and Barad-dur had models.
Yoda Halfpint 22 Sep, 2014 @ 12:43pm
lot of wonders could be added. Durins tower at the top of the endless stair for example in moria.
Wolfe 21 Sep, 2014 @ 4:35am
long lake should be esgaroth
[SSU]yenyang 20 Sep, 2014 @ 10:26pm
@Wolf I am including renamed natural wonders with my upcoming Middle Earth True Start Location mod. So far I have Weathertop (Grand Mesa) , Tolfalas (Gibraltar), Stone of Erech (Mt Kailash), Fall of Rauros (Fountain of Youth), Long Lake (Lake Victoria), and maybe Meneltarma (Mt Sinai). I don't believe there is a way to incorporate new models for natural wonders so I have chosen appropriate ones to rename. I chose to not include some of them such as Mount Doom because they are too close to a civ's starting location and/or the model doesn't work property. So far they are just renamed but i may alter yields and/or effects too.
regalmanemperor  [author] 19 Sep, 2014 @ 4:50pm
The closest thing I have to a natural wonder is a planned Elvenking Halls.
Wolfe 19 Sep, 2014 @ 4:27pm
can you make natural wonders?
like lothlorien, fangorn or mount doom?
regalmanemperor  [author] 16 Sep, 2014 @ 4:22pm
@Creative
that is too much work. Khose Galkin already has one on the workshop. I'll just stick to wonders
CreativeChaos 16 Sep, 2014 @ 4:16pm
hey amazing work and i was just wondering are you goingg to try and make a middle earth scenario
regalmanemperor  [author] 14 Sep, 2014 @ 10:01am

regalmanemperor  [author] 2 Jul, 2014 @ 12:32pm
thanks!
Yoda Halfpint 2 Jul, 2014 @ 12:18pm
thanks for the hard work on these wonders, i have just downloaded the rest of these. i had to start a new game anyway because angmar was just added to the LOTR civs mods and that would break the game i had going. im going to play offline right now :D
regalmanemperor  [author] 2 Jul, 2014 @ 12:03pm
I have Caras Galadhon and Dol Guldur planned. Helms Deep is the one i'm most likely to make before other LOTR wonders. I will release Khazad Dum way later as I already have Erebor for now
Yoda Halfpint 2 Jul, 2014 @ 11:54am
thank you for these i didnt realise there were more than 4 until now.
how about girdle of melian/elven ring which replaces great wall for elves? the ring would be obsoleted by the tech ruling ring or the wonder ruling ring. the girdle i dont know how to obsolete since it was ultimately thingol tasking beren to get a silmaril that doomed Doriath. that would be a tech of some sort i suppose.
Yoda Halfpint 2 Jul, 2014 @ 11:42am
of course with the 1st age wonders maybe we need an alternative civ to mordor where Sauron is merely a general, and melkor/morgoth as leader. Thangorodrim/angband as capital, tol n-gaurhoth, the silmarillion has some names after the nirnaeth arnoediad for cities.
Yoda Halfpint 2 Jul, 2014 @ 11:38am
not sure dol amroth is a wonder. nice city that it was, it had none of the heavy engineering needed for minas anor (later, minas tirith) or orthanc for example. Lothlorien was a forest with mallorn trees in not sure it would count as a wonder to be built - but Caras Galadhon probably would, the capital city of Laurelindorenan (later called Lothlorien). Dol Guldur, was a lesser dwelling of Sauron, i dont think again would qualify as a wonder - although maybe as a replacement for a fort for mordor. Helms Deep and Aglarond would be a good wonder - a super castle for rohan which generates culture due to the glittering caves. Khazad Dum definitely should be a wonder-maybe it should enable Erebor later on. Angband and Thangorodrim yes, as we dont know enough about utumno to put it in.

Where are Helm's Deep, Dol Amroth, Dol Guldur/Mirkwood, Minas Morgul, Lothlorien, Moria, Carn Dum, Angband, and maybe Khazad Dum?
John Browns Body 9 May, 2014 @ 9:45pm

Whylkipp 9 May, 2014 @ 7:55am
do you think you could put all the wonders into one collective mod? cos that would be very helpful. thx.
King Googley 16 Apr, 2014 @ 9:26am
Can you do like atleast 20 more? That would be awesome
SaltyWalty 31 Mar, 2014 @ 6:45pm

How about making one for the mines of Moria (sans Balrog)?
Coach_Gutt2433 12 Feb, 2014 @ 4:27pm
Another idea might be something like the old Knight Templar Wonder from Civ 3
